Xin Zhao
Morde works great with Xin because Xin is a really aggressive jungler that goes for early fights in the jungle. Morde often has the priority in the lane so he is able to rotate faster than the enemy mid in invades. Xin also helps him stick to targets easier, the same way a lot of melee champs do.

Champion Build Guide
In solo queue I've played mostly ADC, Support and Top but I'm familiar with all roles. The way I've climbed in the last couple of years was through mostly choosing one champ and spamming it until I get bored, then moving on to a new champ. I find that to be the easiest and most effective way to climb. I am really knowledgeable about the game and put in a ton of time in researching new stuff and keeping up with the META.
I'm new to Mobafire but excited to provide as much info as I can to people.

LS has been known for a few picks such as

He's recently reached Master on Korea which is regarded as one of the best if not the best server quality wise playing mostly Mordekaiser with a pretty impressive 64% winrate over 157 games.
+ Not very hard to play
+ Strong objective control
+ Surprise factor, not many people understand how Morde works
+ Gets a lot better in a duo queue setting which we are aiming for
+ Item build synergizes very well - Rylai, Liandry, Morellonomicon
Cons
- Easy to kite
- Immobile
- Not very good if you fall behind
- This particular playstyle is best suited for a duo partner

For secondary runes LS prefers

Most of the time Morde mid will be against a ranged champion which means it's very hard for you to get value out of the damage portion of [Shield Bash]], whereas you can pretty easily procc

Shield Bash and Revitalize can definitely be good into melee matchups and if you play toplane.
Core item build:

Liandry also helps you take objectives such as Dragon and Baron even faster, which Morde is already great at.

What LS does in the early game is mostly permanently shoving the enemy laner and playing safe, gaining small advantages through making it hard for the enemy laner to farm under tower. His duo usually plays Xin which is a very aggressive early game jungler that can take crabs fairly easily. With Morde having so much push power, that means it is very easy for LS to rotate first and help his jungle in invades or skirmishes. Playing melee champs with Morde is great because of the way his W works, granting him and a close ally a movement speed buff (THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP YAY!). A champion like Xin also sticks on targets and helps Morde do the same. (Think of all the best champions with Morde - Alistar, Leona, Blitz, Thresh etc. and logically - a lot of melee junglers with CC)
After he gets to level 6, he looks for taking an early Drake, often calling for his jungler to start it before he's even cleared mid. Morde is amazing at taking Dragon because of the dot from his W which also heals him, he can tank it really well because of the shields, his Q is also super high base damage and his jungler also gets the Aery shield applied. After taking Dragon, he looks to take turret platings on mid with it and pressure the opposing midlaner. Dragon this early in the game is insanely strong and allows him to snowball the game through having cs leads and so much extra gold.
In teamfights he's mostly looking to get as much value out of his kit without going too deep, usually ulting carries (great target for the ghost and also easier to kill)
