Spells:

Clairvoyance
Ability Order
Illumination (PASSIVE)
Lux Passive Ability
HeLLo there.
NOTE: This is not a full guide to playing Lux. This guide will only be useful, provided that you are already familiar with the champ, her abilities and her play style. I am not here to explain how to play her, though i do give a brief description of just that, I am here to show you my items, masteries, and chosen spells. Lemme know what you think!
Your basic core item build:
Note that the order is important as displayed at the very top, until you get past the tear. So basically the order doesn't matter. For the most part, its a good idea to get
and
before
, but if you want to, u can bring lich bane up first.
After Lich Bane, you have several options, depending on what you need however, a default build that generally always works:
However, if there is little AD on the other team, you will want to switch that

. If you are not worried about getting hit at all? then feel free to switch it up and bring in a
. Now a void staff is only good if they have magic resist, so you might not need it at all. In that case, you might want to get a
, but ONLY if your up to it. I personally am not a fan of DG, but it works for some people.
Do NOT get
unless you are COMPLETELY sure of ur ability to fill it up. I never get it, because it can break you if you are not good to it.
Also, do NOT get
as it isn't rly any good with Lux's abilities. After her
, the slow will have been cancelled out. After her
, it wont stack with the default slow from the ability. And after her Finales Funkeln... well... youll most likely be using that at a range where whether or not the target is slowed wont matter.
IF YOU ARE GETTING HIT HARD EARLY and dont think u can a afford a
early, then you might want to consider buying individual parts, whatever you have money for when you come back. Often my build will look like this at one point:
and ill come back to my base with only 1k gold. seeing as i do not have enough to buy the
, you can either buy your
or even another
. Ill find my self with three blasting wands at a time, and though I don't recommend that, but it is not a bad idea and it will prevent you from lingering around your base too much.

For the most part, play style is up to you. However this is how I play:
In a general lane, I try to harass as much as possible with my
. ALWAYS detonate your charge on your opponent unless it's too dangerous. Its a BIG part of the damage.
When ganking, or in team fights, i start with the Q snare, detonate the charge, use the E circle, then detonate the charge (these abilitys' cast order is interchangable, and it is recommended that you slow first with your E if you have a hard time hitting your snare). If you have a possible kill or two that look like they might get away, feel free to pop your laser, its generally never a bad thing to do. Remember that your laser detonates the charges placed, so you don't have to manually detonate a previous charge if you are scoping up your laser.
