Hi, this is my first guide so I hope it works for you. I use Lux a lot. She's my favourite champion and really good at playing mid or support. Before you use this guide I want you to know that this is a very basic guide which just explains what to build and stuff. I wont bother going into too much detail because I don't read all the text on guides, so I don't expect people to read all my text either. Anyway, enjoy!

Early Game - Buy the starting items at the top of the guide. These will help you the laning phase a lot. Spellthief's Edge give you extra gold and ability power so let your AD carry farm and poke the enemy champions with your E Lucent Singularity to keep them away. Don't forget to put a Stealth Ward in the river bush to stop jungle ganks.

Mid Game - After recalling to get the essentials you should know whether you'll be playing aggressive or not. (Keep in mind that you'll need Rod of Ages early on to build the stacks.) If you're holding the lane and want to push it up use your E Lucent Singularity or R Final Spark to clear minions easily. Keep that river warded to stop getting killed. You should be able to get Rabadon's Deathcap pretty early on. Once you reach level 6 you can really deal some damage to enemy champions by using this combo:

E Lucent Singularity - To slow them.
Q Light Binding - Keep them rooted.
R Final Spark - This will deliver a huge blow to their health.

Then you can go in with your ADC but make sure you shield them with your W Prismatic Barrier first. If you're being pushed back go for Zhonya's Hourglass. It can save your life and give you a chance to get away or get some support. Then get Rylai's Crystal Scepter, it gives you lots of health and AP so great for becoming tanky.


Late Game - At this point you should have Sorcerer's Shoes and Rabadon's Deathcap comeplete with maybe a few other items. Now you become really deadly. In team fights try to get you E Lucent Singularity, Q Light Binding, R Final Spark combo after shielding everyone. You can get loads of kills and deliver the final blow to escaping enemies. clearing waves is easy with E Lucent Singularity and you don't get poked easily because you can get almost 3000 health and over 700 AP. Warning! If you get in a team fight, make sure you have backup as you can get killed easily if they have a lot of damage
