ADC's Guide to Surviving Early Game

During the first 15 minutes of the game, remember these 6 rules:

1. Have at least 60 cs before 10 minutes

2. Help nearby teammates in danger

3. Remember to Place wards

4. Pushing Lane won't solve all your problems

5. Do the unexpected/Roam at random intervals

6. Stay alive

ADC's Guide to Surviving Early Game - 1. Have at least 60 cs before 10 minu

As an adc, it's essential to get lots of cs during early game, and that will takes priority over getting kills.

That's why having sorcery secondary runes is such a popular choice. Sometimes, during an early game, you won't be able to score kills and you'll need something to build your AD for late game.

Anyways, even after the first 15 minutes, you should always remember to get cs regularly, but don't let it take priority over helping your teammates (Dragons, Baron, Ganks, turrets, etc).

ADC's Guide to Surviving Early Game - 2. Help nearby teammates in danger

AS I've mentioned in the first chapter, helping your teammates takes priority over getting cs. IF your team is outnumbered or struggling against the enemy, DON'T try to clear that last wave first. HELP THEM IMMEDIATELY, because if they die, it's on you too.

It's also good idea to start roaming if you haven't made progress with your lane in the first 15 minutes. Tristana is especially good at ganking and sneak attacks. When the time is right, try to help out mid lane (If help is needed).

But if your opponents are pushing lane too hard, stay and defend the turret until they leave.

ADC's Guide to Surviving Early Game - 3. Remember to place wardss

It's always a good idea to place wards. But If you are dangerously pushing your lane, don't get cocky. You have to watch out for that jungler, and the best way to do that is to ward the river bush. However, Even if you do this, you'll still have to check your map every 5 - 10 seconds to watch out for a potential gank. It could always happen, so be prepared and save enough mana for your w ability.

ADC's Guide to Surviving Early Game - 4. Pushing Lane won't solve all your

If you are losing lane during early game, don't try to push harder. It's more important to stay alive, and gather as much cs as possible. Winning lane won't matter if you feed the other team. They'll just push back harder.

But, even if you are doing well during the lane phase, you should still resist the urge to push your lane. It could cause you to miss cs, forget to buy items, or get caught up in a gank.

ADC's Guide to Surviving Early Game - 5. Do the unexpected/Roam at random i

Roaming at random intervals is a good way to catch your opponents off guard, and possibly even help you score a kill during early game.

ADC's Guide to Surviving Early Game - 6. Stay Alive

Not dying is more important than winning lane
