Hey guys! My name is Radu and I'm a high elo Mordekaiser main on EUNE. I started playing Mordekaiser at the beggining of season 4 and since then he has been my favourite and most secure pick. He is one of the only champions in League without any massive counter. I put a fair amount of effort into this guide, so I do implore you to reconsider any downvotes pending the actual trial and testing of my guide that I imagine you are planning to do. And above all, thank you for taking the time to read this amazing Mordekaiser Guide. So without further ado, here is the ultimate Mordekaiser guide.

Go for your standard ap rune page. Do not try to make a specific rune page for Morde. Not now. After 100+ of Morde games you will know what to add in order to get the best out of your play style.

Passive - A very strong passive, it gives you a shield that scales with your level. You fill the shield when casting aabilities on minions, monsters or champions. Beware not to overshield. We will talk abouth this later.

Q - Your next basic attack has +75 range and deals bonus magic damage to the first target and 3 other targets. If the target is alone (example you catch someone in the river) you deal even more damage to him. Thiis is beyond of if you have a LICH BANE

W - You and an ally get a protective aura wich also deals magic damage. You get bonus movement speed if moving towards your ally and vice versa. Good for team fighting.

E - You main ability and the God's gift to this champion. This abililty is the most overpowerd thing in league. U can use it to harras, farm, poke, get shield, get life back and the list goes on. Justt be creative.

R - Very good ability for shreading tanks and killing single targets. You deal % magic damage, scaling with ap. If the enemy is killed while ult is on you gain a ghost of it. So yyou can transform a 1 vs 3 in a 1,5 vs 2, because the ghost can only auto attack. But it's basics deal on hit effects. This means that if your enemy has statik shiv your ghost will also have the statik shiv effect. And it can also crit.

What i mean by this is to use your passive like a real man and don't over shield. If you have maximum shield your next abilities won't shield you even more, resulting in not getting the maximum out of Mordekaiser.

Morde is all about positioning. Try not to be caught first because you will die fast. In lane youse your E to simultaneously farm and harras your enemy. When fighting in lane try to also hit E on minions to get more shield.
