Introduction

Hey guys, let me tell you a bit about why I made this Guide. In my opinion Nasus is one of the coolest Champions in League of Legends.I bought him as one of my first champs but i didn´t played him very much first. But since a few weeks I play him very often and realized how amazing he is.I prefer to play Nasus solo-top but in the Jungle he can also be really strong.

One last thing before I start the Guide.... excuse me for my bad english im from Germany.

Summoner Spells

Flash : This spell is usefull in many situations. For example to escape a gank or get in range for Wither.Another point is that Nasus has no ability to escape.

Heal : Heal is my favourite skill when i play solo-top.You can turn around many situations for example if u get tower dived. If you are low-life and your enemy is getting greedy, simply wait for him to chase you and use Heal + Fury of the Sands.... who´s dying now ?!

Spells I would never take as Nasus:
Clairvoyance This is a spell wich should be taken by a supporter but not by Nasus who is supposed to be at the Top-Lane.

Revive in my opinion is useless. You have to use it if youre dead and I guess you don´t want to die, so other Summoner Spells are way more usefull.

Promote It´s not completely useless, but it wont help you very much, so there are better picks for a Summoner Spell.

Surge wich gives you attack speed and AP for a few seconds in my opinin is a bad choice, beceause Nasus does not need any AP boost or attack speed.Of course attack speed isn´t bad for Nasus but not primary needed.

Abilities

Passive : Soul Eater Gains nasus 14/17/20% life-steal.It´s really nice to survive in lane.

Q: Siphoning Strike needs to be stacked by killing minions with you Q.For every minion that you kill with it, your Q will deal 3 Permanent additional damage. Siphoning Strike is Nasus main source to put out damage. There is no limit of stacking it.

W: Wither reduces your enemies movement and attack speed by 35% for 5 seconds.During the 5 seconds the slow get´s harder more and more.

E: Spirit Fire After a 0,5 sec cast and a 0,5 sec delay the target area becomes desecrated for 5 seconds.Enemies in the area will take damage each second and have their armor reduced. This ability is mainly used for the armor reduce, not to deal damage.

R: Fury of the Sands is Nasus ultimate. It gains you 300/450/600 life and deals 3/4/5% of their maxiumum health to nearby enemies. It also gives you a few percent of the dealt damage as additional AD untill the sandstorm ends.

Skill Sequence

I max my Siphoning Strike first beceause everytime the cooldown gets lower and the damage incrases!

Item Build

I do always start the game with Regrowth Pendant and an HP Pot for good lane survival. When i go back to base I normally have enough gold to buy Philosopher's Stone and Heart of Gold .After I got those items I go on with Mercury's Treads beceause of the CC reduction.

My Early Game Build:
Philosopher's Stone

Next I buy Sheen beceause it procs with Siphoning Strike. After that I go for Glacial Shroud beceause of the CDR wich allow´s you to farm easier with your Q and it also gives mana.

My Mid Game Build:
Philosopher's Stone

The next step is to upgrade Sheen into Trinity Force, wich improves the damage of your Siphoning Strike realy hard. After this I buy Warmog's Armor for some extra HP.Now you should upgrade Glacial Shroud into Frozen Heart wich gives you 20% CDR instead of 15%.

Now my Build looks like this:
Philosopher's Stone

If the match still isn´t over, sell Philosopher's Stone to buy Atma's Impaler and Heart of Gold to buy Force of Nature

My final build is like :

Solo Top vs 2

If you have to play vs 2 enemies at Top-Lane you should never try to kill them alone beceause 2v1 is never a good idea.Try to last hit minions with Siphoning Strike and wait for your jungler to gank at your lane.Beceause of his passive Nasus is able to stay at the lane without going back to base for a long time.If you are able to last hit under tower try to stay at your tower beceause it´s way safer.
