Hey guys 'n gals, welcome to my little guide. I bought Akali around six months ago, and have enjoyed every game I have played as this unique and exciting character. After a couple of games I got used to her role and skill set and began to become very successful.

I am not the best Akali around of course, but I am very happy to have to opportunity to share my knowledge and experience with any budding new Akali players.

This is my first guide as you had probably gathered and any feedback at all is greatly appreciated as I strive to improve.

Pros:
Absolutely insane burst damage (probably the highest in the game)
Very mobile with her gap closing ultimate
Very effective against rather immobile mid champions like Fiddlesticks or Morgana
Snowballs better than almost any mid champion
Most importantly, she is incredibly fun!
Uses Energy which makes farming a breeze
Cons:
Harassed early game
Rather weak before level 6
Early farming can suffer as she is melee

Pre level 6 you want to concentrate on avoiding harassment and last hitting as many minions as you can in melee. If your opponent is dealing rather high damage to you either poke then with your Q where possible or last hit with your Q. Remember, you use energy so feel free to use as many skills as you want.

Akali has a fairly simple but absolutely necessary combo that must be learned to unleash her true OMGWTFBBQ damage. It goes as follows. Hit your opponent with your Q and follow Immediately with your R, then either use your E or basic attack the enemy to ignite the mark. Rinse and repeat this combination with a healthy dose of basic attacks and you will tear your opponents apart.

Team fights with Akali are a very all or nothing state of affairs. The trick is learning when to strike when your opponents least expect it. As soon as that time comes, unleash hell on to the highest priority targets on their team.

Focus Order

AD Carry > AP Carry > Bruiser > Support
The focus on their jungler depends entirely on the champion that is being played. If it is an AP carry like Diana or Fiddlesticks then they should be focussed accordingly.
