Tips for each lane:

Top: know your matchups. Play passive against bad matchups and aggressive against goo d matchups. Pretty generic. Also, always ward the river to see the ganks. Ask your teammates to ping. Because Garen is extremely kitable.

Mid: Always ward. Also, you win almost all melee matchups. But don’t play too aggressive. Mid is the lane that gets ganked very often. Opposite is true, so wait for your ganks. You can go in on lv6. But if the enemy laner doesn’t respect you, you can punish them,

Jg: Focus your pathing. Always start from red. Ask for leash from bot. Also, always ask your teammates to ward blue if you are playing against aggressive early Jungler.
Here’s the pathing: Red-Raptors-Wolf-Blue-Gromp-Scuttle.
Then gank top or mid. If mid gank was successful, go bot then scuttle then skrugs. If top gank was successful, recall. Then go botside, and gank bot to transition to drag.
Keep in mine that it’s fine if you don’t get the first two drakes. Rift herald is way more important. Always always try to get rift herald.

Support: As a support Garen, you can’t do much. Punish enemies when they come to your ADC. Play passive. Last hit canon if you get a stack on shoulder plates. Don’t let your ADC die.

ADC: ADC Garen is only viable when Yuumi is your support. Don’t play aggressive. Just farm. You will have a TON of sustain. Don’t miss CS. Wait for Jg ganks or when yuumi hits her ult.
