Introduction

Pantheon is a strong early and late game champion; dealing tons of damage and setting other lanes up for perfect ganks using his ultimate. He is a strong team fighter and is very viable in almost any team comp.

Ranked Play

Despite what others may say, Pantheon is a viable ranked champion. He can carry a team if at least one other person on your team is fed. Unlike other tops, he is not a hyper carry. Pantheon is more designed towards being a semi-tanky assasin with insane damage output. Make sure you are not one of the first picks or you will be counter picked.

Pros / Cons

Pros:
-Strong early game against every top laner (see the Counters chapter)
-Strong late game
-Excellent team fights
-Unmatched tower-diving capablities

Cons:
-No good escapes besides Flash
-Have to keep an eye on your mana to make sure you dont over use your spear in the early game

Team Work

Learning to place your ult in teamfights is the biggest advantage of having a Pantheon on your team. If placed correctly, it deals MASSIVE damage to all the targets within the radius instantly giving your team the advantage in the fight.

Unique Skills

Learing how to use Pantheon's two passives is also a major advantage. His first and most obvious pass is called Aegis Protection. It allows Pantheon to block 1 normal attack from anything that does over 40 damage to him. This passive resets when pantheon attacks or casts a spell 4 times. Mastering this passive allows Pantheon to 1v1 ad-carrys, tank turrets, and make crazy plays under turret or in a teamfight that would normally kill any other champion. Pantheon's second passive is called Certain Death. This activates when Pantheon puts the first point in Heartseeker Strike. This passive allows him to have a 100% crit chance against champions below 15% of their max health. Remembering this passive and using it cleverly can result in crazy kills especially when combined with a last second Spear Shot.
