if you play this piece of **** ur actually an orphan
Introduction
For the rest of the runes, taking Triumph, Legend: Alacrity, and Coup De Grace, which allows for a pretty good rune setup. Your secondary tree will most often be Sorcery, taking Celerity for the bonus AD when using your E, and Waterwalking, to further boost your move speed.
After your first back. you should be able to buy Red Smite, along with a long sword and a control ward. if not, you probably fed top lane trying to gank like a dumbass, so just buy a talismen and maybe a hp pot if you died early
something something warrior first item
then into tiamat for that aoe thingy
trinity for dmg
guinsoos for more damage
steraks for damage and some tank
and then you can try some ***** **** like armor if you wanna buy it, but i wouldn't recommend it uwu
all jokes aside, warrior is a great item on udyr. the early AD spike for such a cheap cost is really strong on him, and let's you shred champs fast before the 20 minute mark, in which then you should have Triforce, another great item on Udyr thanks to the Sheen proc and CDR. With how often Udyr spams his abilities, you've almost always have his sheen up, allowing for a lot of damage with tiger stance.
Guinsoo's and Sterak's are also pretty solid items, with Guinsoo's being good for killing most champs fast asf, and Sterak's giving you a good amount of AD while boosting your AD even more.
then there are your tank items but you dont really need those :^)
Now let’s talk about Udyr’s abilities. His Passive is Monkey's Agility, giving you 5 extra movement speed, and 10% more attack speed whenever you use one of your abilities, called Stances. Every time you use one, you give one stack to Monkey’s Agility, and it stacks up to 3, causing you to have up to 15 bonus movement speed, and 30% attack speed, giving you quite a bit of offensive capabilities. Every time you use a stance, it does put you on a 2 second delay, but you can lower this by using CDR from either your items or runes.
Now Udyr’s Q is Tiger Stance. When activated, he gains attack speed, and gives his next basic auto attack to deal burn damage over 2 seconds,. The attack speed boost can be 30%-70%, and the extra damage based on rank and scales from 120-180% of your AD. Crazy scaling right? While in this stance, and while the active is gone, you apply burn damage over 2 seconds on your 1st & 3rd auto attack, and enemy champions who already have this have their stack refreshed, and have the previous stacks damage done instantly, which can be used to burst squishy targets. Normally this is used for 1v1s and can also used for very fast jungle clear against single monsters, but against something like Raptors, it’s better to use Udyr’s R, Phoenix Stance. If you do have enough AD though, you can do burns that kill the enemy, and you can just walk away, because the burn will kill them. Do this for maximum BM.
Udyr’s W is Turtle Stance. When used, a shield comes up and disappears after 5 seconds. The shield takes up to 200 damage and gives him healing on his 1st & 3rd attack. It takes from 60-200 damage and scales with 50% AP. The healing does not scale with AP, but does give up to 5% maximum health based on how much you’re missing, meaning that you can use this to tank tower shots, which is very useful if you don’t have any minions nearby. Now this ability is great, and while the effect is super boring, it’s one of the best spells you can have as a jungler, as it gives sustain and shields you from incoming damage. It’s also great with 1v1s, as it shields you long enough to either go into your next stance, or run away with your E, Bear Stance.
Bear Stance is Udyr’s E. When activated, you gain movement speed, from 15%-35% based on rank, which lasts up to 3 seconds at max rank. It also allows to go straight though minions so that they don’t block your path when you’re chasing down enemy champions. Now this may just sound like a movement buff, but the persistent effect is what Udyr players love the most about. It stuns. So that means if an enemy champion is running away, BOP, they got stunned for a second and now must endure the power of either your Tiger or Phoenix Stance, and when the stun goes away, you can either Turtle Stance and tank the damage they are trying to deal to you, or use Bear Stance again to chase. Now in order for Bear Stance to not be this OP ability that infinitely stuns the enemy champion, you can only stun the same champion once per 5 seconds, so that sucks but when they start running away, just Bear and stun again, because the movement speed will help with holding them down so your team mates can help kill the champion. It also helps against either blue or red buff, since it allows them to do less damage for you while you use Turtle Stance to heal off any damage you may have taken.
Phoenix Stance is the other damaging ability you use in Udyr’s kit. When activated, it gives a Sunfire Cape like effect around you. It lasts 4 seconds, damaging each enemy every second, and it scales with of your 25% AP. It’s persistent effect is that during your 3rd auto-attack, you deal magic damage in a cone. Now while the active damage scales with 25% AP, the damage from the cone scales with 60% AP, dealing a lot more damage. This ability is usually taken around level 1-6 to help with Jungling, as it’s great for Raptors and Wolves, but for 1v1s, it’s better to just use Tiger, since it does more damage overall.
a little outdated maybe uwu
blue buff is pretty good because of how mana reliant udyr is early game. with spell that spammable, you'll run out of mana really fast, so taking blue will really help you with that. sure, level 2 ganks suffer a bit, but you should still have solid potential to get first blood if you gank.
Since you're taking Domonation first instead of Precision or Sorcery, your jungle clears might suffer because of the loss of early attack speed, but just take Precision secondary and you should be fine :V
RedSmite into Stormrazor is a pretty good combo when you can right click some champ with a tiger stance and blow them up like a mf tbh. running Stormrazor with Shiv and some lethality or triforce will basically guarentee a 700 dmg auto along with burn damage from tiger stance
