Introduction
Here's the video if you haven't seen it, or want to know where I'm getting this stuff from:
Phreak's recommended Summoner Spells, and I tend to agree. Ghost and Exhaust will keep you in control of any 1v1, and allow for easy chasing of low health targets. I've seen Flash used. I've never been much of a fan of it, but I could see the appeal of having three blinks. Another skill I could see if you knew the enemy team is Cleanse v. heavy CC, as Renekton tends to get shut down with CC, which makes for a sad gator.
Really simple
Now that you have max CD reduction (15%+12%+10%+3%) your core set is finished, and the rest is up to who you're fighting, and what your team needs. Renekton is a very versatile hero, able to be an excellent physical DPS, or as a capable offtank
Now that that's out of the way, on to late game items. Lot's of choices here, and I'll run through what I normally aim for, an even 50/50 offtank/dps setup, and some suggestions for a straight-ish DPS and a straight offtank approach.

comes next, for CD reduction and movespeed. If you're fighting a CC heavy team, you can consider
, but I probably wouldn't. CD reduction is too important on Renekton to not take the CD boots.
- Build either or , depending on whether you need more survivability at the moment or damage. Don't worry too much about it, though, since you'll get both before hitting the next set of items.

- (NEVER try to initiate/tank with Renekton, as he has no "tanking" skills and, if you're following this guide, not nearly enough armor/mres/health to be an effecient tank.) You will just die and feed. On the same token, do not overextend to get that a kill. While Renekton is very good at juking attackers with , you are not invincible, even if your ult makes you feel that way sometimes. If you can't get the kill, be a good 'gator (or crocodile, I was terrible at telling the difference) and lie in wait. Your prey will return soon enough.

This is the suggested item setup Phreak has in his video, and it's what I like to use, but I do play with my brother who specializes in carries, so your mileage may vary in the solo ques.

Looking for something a little more tanky? Try this setup on for size, obviously taking into account your opponents majority damage type.

Heavy CC (If you really feel like you need it, take Mercury's Treads over Ionian Boots, but you want to either get the blue buff as much as possible, or if you can't do that or there is a caster who needs it more, buy something else to help with the CDR, even if it's just a at 900g for 10%.) -

If you have a solid tank, or your DPS is lacking, you can go for a more DPS build. Now, I don't use DPS Renekton, so you might want to go look at the top DPS build for him, but a quick and dirty setup is as follows. If you get the Ghostblade, sell your CDR boots for

So, there he is. Phreak's suggested setup for Renekton in all its glory. Comments on what you think, tips and suggestions are appreciated. If you guys know any better ways to do the late game builds (past Brutalizer and Spirit Visage) I'll be happy to take them, as those are just my five second suggestions since it's hard to say what you need for your specific game makeup. Suggestions on Runes, non-late game items, Masteries, and Summoner Spells will be noted in their sections, but I won't edit the guide, since the point is to remain true to Phreak's Champion Spotlight build. If I get enough suggestions, I'll make a second guide with the revisions taken into account in about a month.
