Kindred is the hardest counter to Sejuani in the game. I always permanently ban this champion. She is stronger early game and she outscales Sejuani. The only way you can kill Kindred early is if you find a two versus one, or if she is below half health you can burst her with your combo.
Karthus
Karthus is the opposite of Kindred. He does not pose a threat to you in skimishes/teamfights. However, he hard counters you because engaging on him is pointless. His passive allows him to deal massive amounts of damage, even if you kill him. This makes it very hard to engage him and if you ignore him your team will die to him. I recommend trying to either pick him or try to kill him later in the team fight as he cannot cast his ultimate near you because he can be CC'd out of the animation.
Master Yi
Master Yi is an incredibly oppressive champion. If he is ahead after level 6 he can solo kill you at any point int he game. His primary goal is to power farm to level 6 as fast as possible. As a result you should try to get off early ganks and empower your team so that they can kill him if you CC him. Your goal versus Master Yi is simply to lock him down and let your team kill him.
Morgana
Morgana's black shield makes it very hard to engage with Sejuani. It completely negates your CC! This means that you have to try to bait out the shield or predict where she will put it when you engage. If you do not do this she will negate your engage and you will probably lose the fight.
Olaf
This champion cannot be CC'd after level 6. This makes him an incredible pain in the rear as your primary method of killing enemies is by CCing them. In order to kill olaf you have to wait out his ult and try to body block him from your team.
Shyvana
Shyvanna is basically the female version of Master Yi but worse. She power farms and can solo kill you after six just like Yi. However, this champion is worse at team fighting than you. Your primary objective versus Shyvanna is to spam gank early and try to keep up on experience. She can really only beat you if she gets way ahead but that happens quite often.
Vayne
Vayne is nearly impossible to deal with after she gets her QSS. Before she has QSS you can actually kill her. The problem is that once she has this item she can escape your CC and delete you with her silver bolts. This means you should probably camp her early so she doesn't get ahead.
Hecarim
Hecarim has fast clear speeds and can impact the map very easily. I recommend warding well and trying to keep track of him so your laners don't die to his ganks. This champion is very hard to deal with but you do outscale him. In addition after early he falls off very hard so as long as your team doesn't fall too far behind you are fine usually.
Urgot
Urgot jungle has recently become a thing... I don't know a ton about the matchup (yet) but it seems like he can solo kill you at any point in the game. That said your teamfight is much stronger than his so after early game you will want to group and teamfight around objectives as much as you can.
Rek'Sai
Rek'sai has fast clear speeds like many carry junglers and poses a real threat to you in skirmishes. However, her key attribute is that she can tunnel around and track you effortlessly. This makes her a pain because she can be all over the map and she can see you coming if you try to counter gank. That said after early she really isn't all that good unless she is super fed. I recommend tracking her early with wards and trying to gank on the opposite side of the map.
Udyr
Udyr is the largest threat to Sejuani pre level 3. He can just walk into your jungle and solo kill you at any point on your first clear. This means that you have to ward well and play safe. If you are killed by him early game he can snowball the game very easily. However, if you are not killed by him early you will win most of the time.
Xin Zhao
Xin Zhao is a very oppressive early game jungler, He is similar to udyr in that he can solo kill you if he ever finds you in the jungle early game. However, after level 6 you can kill him if you play it well. The problem with Xin is that in teamfights he can negate your engage in that he can ult and your teammates's follow up damage will be cut down significantly. That said your teamfight is still much better than his. If you ult him your team can still kill him but it might be a bit slower.
Pyke
This champion is nearly impossible to lock down due to his mobility and invisibility. He is sooooooo annoying to play against. If you think you can pick him do it because he is a nightmare to deal with in teamfights. Aside from that, however, he isn't all that great.
Nunu is a unique champion in that he doesn't do a whole lot besides clear the jungle. What I mean is that he will not usually try to fight you but he will have much better objective control with his chomp. This means that you can never outsmite him. As a result you have to teamfight his team and kill him before you start a dragon or baron. This champion is more of a nuisance than a problem
Akali
Akali is super hard for the enemy to pin down and she is super mobile. She is also a melee champion. This means she can get you E stacks incredibly easily. This makes her an idea lane companion.
Aurelion Sol
Aurelion Sol can't stack your e but he can easily CC the enemy and you can follow or he can roam with you and impact the map incredibly heavily. He is a really good champ to play with Sejuani.
Taric
Taric is the easiest support to follow up as Sejuani. You will notice a trend of melee supports synergizing well with Sej but this one is the best by far due to his CC and insane teamfights.
Renekton
Renekton is one of the easiest top laners to gank for. His W also gives you two stacks on your e which allows you to chain CC incredibly easily! Renkton also has a nice gap closer which makes him an ideal lane to gank.
Yasuo
Yasuo is one of the best champs to play with Sejuani. You can use your Q to make an opportunity for him to ult the enemy champion and he can stack your E incredibly quickly with his Q.
Thresh
Thresh allows for unique gank routes with his lantern. This combined with his massive amount of CC allows you to gank bot with ease.
Blitzcrank
If blitzcrank hooks someone they are dead. All hook champions will make your life easier but his hook is the best of any champion in the game. This makes him a very good champion to play with.
Hecarim
Hecarim top synergizes incredibly well with Sej because his E applies a stack for your E. This means that he can engage from very far away and still apply a stack immediately. Additionally he can CC with his ult and you can completely obliterate his lane opponent. Your teamfight synergy is also very strong.
Pyke
Another hook champion! This champ is really easy to play with on your team in addition he can turn invisible so he can get you really good engages.
Kassadin
Kassadin is super OP once he gets level 6. In addition you can compensate for his early weaknesses by ganking for him since he is a melee champion. After he hits 6 he is a menace if ahead. Always camp for Kassawin!
Braum
Braum has a lot of CC in his kit and synergizes really well with Sej by making it easier to gank. He is like a better version of Tahm. In teamfights you should peel with Braum because it makes it almost impossible for the enemy to engage your carries.
Katarina
Katarina is another Melee champion with a ton of gap closers. She can easily apply stacks and if you CC an enemy near her she can one shot them. This champ is great for teamfighting with Sejuani.
Camille
Camille is super easy to gank for due to her incredibly long range engage. She can lock down a champion and you can follow up and kill them really easily. The only reason she is not a 5 is that her teamfights are kind of weak compared to the other champs on this list.
Jax
Jax is another melee champion with a lot of CC in his kit. This gives you a lot of synergy with him, however he only has one dash which is not that long of range so he is not quite as good as some of the other alternatives.
Tahm Kench
Tahm is like a worse Braum he can apply a lot of CC and defensive protection in teamfights and he is pretty easy to gank for. He is a pretty good champ to have on your team.
Kayle
Kayle is a very strong champion once she gets her ranged form, however, Kayle is really weak before that. As a result Sejuani synergizes really well with her because she can compensate for her early weaknesses because melee Kayle is easier to gank for.
Alistar
Big Malphite, he can reliably engage teamfights for you and you can follow up easily. You can also follow him on ganks but his engage is less reliable than other supports on this list.
Aatrox
Another toplaner with a ton of gap closers he is really easy to gank for and has a lot of CC in addition he has really amazing teamfighting. Definitely a great champion to play with.
Singed
Singed fling is basically a hook and it makes it really easy for Sejuani to gank for him. However, asside from his fling and autos he doesn't do a whole lot. He is really great as a laner but if he proxy farms he is not the best champion to play with.
Bard
Bard is really easy to gank for because the magical journey gives you unique gank routes. Aside from that, however, he is kind of useless aside from his Q. Don't underestimate the power of the magical journey though!
Malphite
Little Alistar... easy to gank for but if he misses his ult he is useless.
As a side note any melee champion is good with Sejuani i Just put my favorites on this list.

Hi guys, I am JOmickie a Diamond 1 Sejuani main. You may have seen my other Sejuani guide titled "Seize What's Ours! - A Guide for Sejuani written by JOmickie". I published this guide as a guest by accident and cannot edit it even though I had so much more to say. As a result I made this guide which is much more detailed in my opinion. Enjoy!
Early Game
Blue Side
In the early game Sejuani has only a few possible pathing options. First we will start with what you should do on blue side. On blue side you ALWAYS want to start red buff. Your bot lane can leash very quickly and red is always preferable to blue if you can get it due to the amount of combat effectiveness it gives you. You should always stack with your team in a bush on your redside just in case they invade. You can also try to 5 man invade if you have a Blitzcrank a Braum or any good level 1 composition. After making sure that you aren't being invaded, it is important that you ward the pixel bush on bot side of your jungle. This bush is the one in the river near the midlane. You want to ward this bush when the game timer hits 1 minute and 15 seonds. You do this because you need to know where the enemy jungler is so that he does not kill you or your team! After clearing red you have two choices. You can either go and clear your raptor camp or you can w your raptor camp for health back and go to the scuttle crab on the opposite side of the jungle. If you clear the raptor camp you can go to the bot side scuttle crab and kill it, however, if the enemy jungler is stronger than you or if the lanes do not have priority (which means that your lanes are getting shoved in) then you should try to figure out where the enemy jungler is before doing it. Assuming that you see the enemy jungler or believe that you can fight him you should do scuttle crab then invade his bot side blue buff. After clearing blue you should invade wolves then gromp and then gank bot lane or midlane depending on which is shoving into your team's tower.
Red Side
Red side is very similar to blue side except for one key aspect. If you start with your bot lane you will be at blue buff. This means that you cannot do your bottom side scuttle crab reliably. You have to either go from your blue buff to your gromp to your wolves to your red to scuttle then raptors and finally krugs or you can start at red. If you choose to start at red you should make sure that your top laner is a melee champion. This will allow you to get a better leash since you can use your e more times. It is also important to ward the pixel bush on the side you start on. If you start red you should ward the topside pixel at 1 minute and 15 seconds likewise if you start blue you should ward the bottom side pixel at 1 minute and 15 seconds. (Remember this is the bush near midlane in the river). If you start at your blue buff you should gank top or mid after you clear your red and scuttle. If you start red you have two options. These are the same options you had on blue side. You can either invade his jungle or go from red directly to the scuttle crab while making sure you W the raptor camp.
Mid Game
As a jungler in the mid game your primary focus is to gank the lanes and get them ahead. You are Sejuani so unless you are super fed you will have a hard time solo carrying the game as it gets later. The good news is you do lots of damage in the mid game and have a ton of crowd control. You should use the attributes to get your lanes ahead and transition to objectives. Your midgame should look something like clear camps then gank lanes then go for tower damage then go for objectives. What I mean is that first and foremost you need to be farming your camps. You should be ganking lanes around when your camps are respawning. That said if you know you can kill a lane you should forego farming momentarily to cash in the kill. After getting a kill in a lane you should help your laner(s) shove the wave into tower using your W. After the lane crashes you should either go for turret plates which are worth roughly half a kill each in gold or you should try to get the neutral objective on your side of the map. Early on you will always go for the plates/tower damage, however, the neutral objectives should take priority if you have the means to kill them. What I mean is that early on you might be too weak to kill the objectives. If you think you can kill a neutral objective without losing a tower or dying you should always try to secure it.
Team Fighting
Teamfighting is not something that you can learn in a day, however, Sejuani has very good teamfighting even if you aren't that great at piloting her. Her ult is very forgiving in that if you miss it you can still slow the enemy. Do not tilt if you miss an ult, the slow will definitely help you catch them and you can always chain crowd control them after you catchup. In teamfights if you are behind you should always peel your carries instead of engaging fights unless you see the perfect opportunity. This means that you stay with your team and use your crowd control to keep all enemies off of your backline. If you are ahead, however, you have to be proactive. The best way to find a good fight is to clear out vision and hide in the fog of war. You can engage form super far away so if you can find an unsuspecting member of the enemy team you can easily chain crowd control him or her and kill him or her. If you have to fight a 5v5 try to avoid tower diving, however, if you have to you should be the one to tank towers because your passive allows you to take a lot of damage at the start of the fight. In 5v5 teamfights you should always try to ult a carry that does not have any means of escaping. What I mean is that you shouldnt ult them if they have qss or zhonyas unless you have the follow up to kill them on the spot. Try to ult targets that will die upon you engaging.
The Late Game/Stealing Objectives
The late game is the hardest part of the game to explain or teach. Generally you want to try to secure baron and then shove in the waves as a team. There isn't a lot of champion specific knowledge to impart here, however, Sejuani has some unique ways of getting a team back into the game. Because she has a dash in her kit you have a lot opportunities to steal barons and elder dragons. It is not advisable to suicide to steal objectives in the early and mid game but it is in the late. If you are stealing an objective you need to have a control ward on you and smite up. Otherwise your chance of stealing are significantly lower. If you have a blast plant up try to use it to get into either the dragon or baron pit. If it isn't up you should ALWAYS flash into the pit to try to smite steal. Your Q can be blocked by enemy champions so if the enemy plays it right they can stop you from getting into the pit and then you have no way to escape. If you flash smite your chance of stealing is the highest and then you can try to escape with Q.
