Warwick
Warwick ganks are quite dangerous for you. Your only get away is your e, so if you mess that up, or it gets interrupted by Warwick's fear (Yes, it can get interrupted), then your pretty much done for (unless you have enough tank to just walk out, but that is unlikely due to Ornn's movements speed, they would get a lot of auto attacks and spells off on you.) The best thing you can do for a Warwick gank is just make sure that you have river warded at all times... If you see him coming, just get out of there. You don't do enough damage to stay and fight really.
Introduction
Note: Alternative combo: q, then e, then w after you e. I think the first combo is better, but you can try both and see which one you prefer.
2. If you get ganked, use your e of course, but if that still leaves you in trouble, you can w towards where you want to go. Although this will not save you for sure, it does give you a reasonable shield and it cancels CC, so you might be able to get away. When I try it it has worked 90% of the time. (The only time it didn't work was with a Warwick Jungle)
3. Use your ult wisely. Your ult makes or breaks all who Ornn is. Honestly Ornn is almost a useless champ without his ult. You can use your ult to enter a team fight, run away successfully from a major 4v1, and maybe help out a few squishies that might look like they have been caught out. The ult does a pretty good amount of damage, and the knock-up is LONG. Use it wisely and at the right time.
4. Be strategic about the items you buy in lane. If you are planning to go all in on your laner, buy a few tank items pertaining to that laner first. They are surprised, and you don't take as much damage.
5. If you're low on health and you don't want to go back, forge your warmogs!! It will take you back to full health almost instantly.
6. Never hang around by the fountain! There is no need to. You can forge items anywhere! The only reason you should be by the fountain is cause you had to recall due to health.
7. LET PEOPLE DIVE YOU!!!! Especially in ganks. You have a lot of cc and sustain under turret. I can't tell you how many times I have gotten a double kill off of them diving me. Of course, if we're talking like 100 health its probably not the best idea, but if you're at around 20-30% health and they are at around 50-60%, you can easily turn that into a double. have them dive, then you q, w, then e the wall and its pretty much over. the w gives you that big shield. And, if you have ult, make sure to use that for the knock-up. Deals damage and keeps them under tower!
8. One of Ornn's strongest points is his ability to turn a fight. He may look like he is seemingly losing a fight, which most of the time is because you are. However, when you are running away from an attacker, just wait until all your spells are off cool-down, then you can easily turn the fight with a q, w, e combo. A lot of the kills that I get as Ornn are when the top laner is chasing me into the bush, and then I just turn around and combo the heck out of them. People really think that they have him beat. Now of course, if your attacker has a SIGNIFICANTLY bigger percentage of health, don't go in for the turn. Try to wait until your e is off CD, then just e out of the fight.
