For anyone looking at this guide, this is simply a compilation of champions that a friend is interested in (he just started playing). Feel free to leave comments to help improve these builds, I'm simply going off of what I know :) Thanks!

To Nate: I made this guide for you! I'll add more champs as you find them, I can do up to ten max. Make sure to read the little notes by the items and masteries/runes. Also, WARD. I won't allow you to be one of those people who never wards. Good luck!

You can make up to 20 mastery pages at no cost whatsoever. So go nuts! These pages listed here will get you through your games. Don't be afraid to experiment once you understand them a bit more. I mean, my own personal tank page is 6/24/0.

This will be your typical AD rune page. You will walk into game with 14 extra AD (not including items), along with a little bit of resistances. I like throwing a Greater Mark of Critical Chance because sometimes RNGesus will favor you and win you trades/kills.

Standard AP page. Used on a lot of mids, a good chunk of supports and a few tanks. Greater Mark of Magic Penetration will allow your spells to hit harder- moreso than straight AP would. They also help late game with getting through magic resist. Again, we pick up some resistances, and a bit of AP with quintessences.


There are many more combinations, but these are the absolute core pages everyone needs. Everyone gets two runepages when they start, other new ones cost 6300 ip or 975 rp. One (or both) pages will work for every single champion in this game. If you need help trying to decide which page to go for, look at whether the spells scale with AD or AP. Other things to keep in mind would be spells are dealt as magic or physical damage. We'll discuss more rune options once you fill these out and have played with a wide variety of champion types.
