I began playing League of Legends since early season 6 (primarily on the North American, Korean and Oceanic servers), while playing competitively for the first time in season 9. Upon K/DA's comeback, Seraphine was announced as a new champion who I was excited since her playstyle was very much comparable to a hybrid of a support/mage.

I decided to make this guide because I think this build is currently very strong and I would like to share it with more people.

Disclaimer ! I'd like to emphasize that this is solely based off my insights and personal experiences in the bot-lane, so some of the information in this guide may or may not be relevant to you. This guide lacks credibility since I am, after all, low-elo. I do not plan on making this an extremely elaborate guide so if it seems incomplete, it is because the sole purpose was to share a build I personally like to run on Seraphine.

REASONS TO PICK SERAPHINE!
-
AS OF RIGHT NOW, Seraphine can work well in a lot of different team comps, providing utility, CC and damage as a hybrid mage-enchantress. The meta will continue to shift and change, but Seraphine will always be a worthwhile pick in my eyes due to her teamfighting capabilities.

PROS

+ Strong harass because of Stage Presence
+ Lots of damage
+ Weaknesses are easy to counter
+ Can carry a team fight
+ Strong crowd-control
+ Beginner-friendly

Seraphine currently has the third highest pickrate in the support role because of how strong she is. I don't really have much to comment on otherwise. Even if you lose lane, you can get some really good team fights with Encore followed by Beat Drop.
CONS

- Squishy
- Somewhat high CD timer on Surround Sound
- Not much utility aside from Surround Sound
- Immobile
- Mana hungry early on
- No hard CC outside of Encore

Seraphine does have a few weaknesses, although I find these are overlooked because of how much she is capable of doing. I think it is most important to be wary of assassins or team comps that are reliant on picks, because Seraphine's biggest strength is a good teamfight and without her you can throw a game.

The concept behind the first build is mainly just a lot of...damage. Imperial Mandate is an item that basically makes any enemy you movement impair vulnerable to extra damage. It is a really great item that synergizes with Seraphine's Beat Drop and Encore, especially after you finish Rylai's Crystal Scepter. Rylai's Crystal Scepter is built so that your E, Beat Drop, instantly roots upon contact with an enemy, and with Stage Presence, stuns. Chemtech Putrifier was recently revamped, and essentially what it does is whenever you shield or heal an ally, their attacks automatically apply 60% healing reduction. This is really good with Seraphine's Surround Sound, even if it has a long cooldown since all your allies are granted this buff. I find it extremely strong in my games (especially vs champs with a lot of sustain or heals, like Irelia, Warwick, Soraka, Darius... the list goes on. Now you don't have to worry about telling your ADC to build an Executioner's Calling. Everything else from that point is situational, but I do like to go either Cosmic Drive for ability haste or Horizon Focus for more damage.

The second build revolves around ability haste (so you can spam your abilities as much as possible) to keep your allies healthy and alive. I find it less enjoyable and overall not that great, but it's still a relevant build. I don't think it's worth expanding upon since most of it just relies on Seraphine's Surround Sound to buff your team constantly and the items are pretty self-explanatory.
