Champion Build Guide

Rabadon's Death Grab | The Tithe will be paid in blood!

By Porgnado
Introduction
Hello I'm Porgnado a returning support and top player. I main Pyke and Nautilus. I made this guide because I was looking at Nautilus's abilities and suddenly realized all of them scale from Ability Power so, here's a guide to damage Nautilus! Hope you enjoy. :) (Please remember that this is a new I guide and is still under construction, thx)
Pros + Cons
Pros:

+Hard CC
+Good Damage
+Great Engage
+Decent Peeling for allies

Nautilus is a very strong engage tank Support with a lot of CC and damage. He also has decent mobility and a shield to keep him alive.

Cons:

-Bad Hooks can easily be punished
-Hooks can be hard to hit

Hitting Hooks and finding the right target can be rough. When hitting an enemy, you pull yourself towards them meaning that a bad hook can easily be punished
Abilities
Staggering Blow [Passive]

When Nautilus basic attacks an enemy, they are rooted for 0.75s to 1.5s (depending on level). His basic attacks also deal bonus physical damage.

Dredge Line [Q]

Nautilus throws his anchor forward in a line. If it hits an enemy, he pulls them towards him whilst also dashing towards them, dealing magical damage. If it hits a wall, Nautilus pulls himself towards it reducing half of its mana cost and half the cooldown.

This and your E are your main sources of damage in this build. It will deal about 1/4-3/4 of your targets health (depending on health, Magic Resist, Damage Reduction, and your AP).

Titan's Wrath [W]

Nautilus shields himself for 6 seconds. While the shield is active, his basic attacks deal bonus magical damage and hit all enemies around his target.

This can be very efficient at clearing minion waves.

Riptide [E]

Nautilus creates 3 waves of explosions around him. Each explosion deals damage to enemies and slows them. Each consecutive hit deals less damage than the last.

This ability is great at hitting an champion that you have just grabbed, rooted, and has started to run away you can hit them up to 3 times dealing massive damage to the target once you get some bonus AP.

Depth Charge [R]

Nautilus selects a target. He then fires a shockwave that chases the target while dealing damage to every enemy it hits. When it reaches the target, they are knocked up into the air and stunned while also taking magical damage.

This can be great in 1v2s or 5v5s because the Shockwave is a "zone" so it can knock up multiple champions, allowing you to immobilize many targets, giving your team time to engage or time for you (and/or your team) to get away from a major threat.
Strategies
The over-all best combination of abilities would be to Q the ADC, basic attack once, W if you've taken a lot of damage or E for more damage (then do the one you didn't do. If you need to after Lev. 6 you may alt the same target. At this point the enemy ADC should be dead or near death (baring your ADC wasn't dealing damage). In the case of the support depending on the support (ie. Blitzcrank, Taric, Alistar) the usually build health/armor, so it's not uncommon to not deal quite enough damage to kill them.
