Introduction
Hello summoners, my name is Spoody and I'm an
Ekko main on the NA server.
I am NOT For Sweet Lemon, this is a guide on how he plays as he is the best
Ekko in the world. At the time this guide is being written, he is the #2 player on the NA server.

First Clear
FSL starts games by going to his top side buff. At 0:50, he presses his
recall and places a vision trinket in the brush outside of his top side buff before the
recall goes off. This trinket will provide vision if the enemy jungler invades. He then buys an
Oracle Lens and heads to the buff he wants to start at.
FSL starts by clearing all three camps on one side. After this he looks for a gank mid-lane if it is available. If he starts top-side, then he almost always looks to invade the enemy top side jungle and take their buff unless he is playing against a jungler that 3-camp clears. If he starts bot-side, he will path up to his top-side and clear two camps. This means he will either skip
krugs or
gromp.
After his clear, he will either look for
scuttle or a gank.
Scuttle is not always wise to take on
Ekko because he is not a strong duelist. Try to track the enemy jungler and also check if your lanes have priority before going for scuttle. Giving up
scuttle is not a big deal on
Ekko because you scale extremely hard.

Early Game
After his first back FSL will continue to prioritize efficient clearing while continuously scanning the map for high-percentage plays. It is important to play for yourself on
Ekko because you do not want to fall behind. Constantly failing ganks and missing farm is the easiest way to throw games on
Ekko. It is way better to get a CS lead and not gank as much than it is to gank too much and lose farm.

Mid Game
Going into the mid-game, continue to prioritize farm however with some items built
Ekko becomes a lot stronger. This means you can look for a lot more aggressive plays. You can set up tower dives with your
Chronobreak very easily and safely, just consider what CC the enemy has. Look to pick off enemies in their jungle using deep wards.

Late Game
By now
Ekko is one of the strongest AP carries in the game. If you play fights correctly you should be able to take out multiple opponents with ease.
In order to teamfight effectively, play slow and wait for an opportunity to hop in, assassinate a target, and hop out. Your
Chronobreak can be used as a quick escape or an ability to do a massive amount of damage. The most important aspect of teamfighting on
Ekko is not getting CC'd and bursted before you can use your ultimate. This is why FSL builds
Zhonya's Hourglass, because you can use it if you get CC'd.
