Updated!?
Please keep in mind, that this guide may not be updated for the current state of game. The build (current 7.5) should be nearly always updated, the written guide (current 7.5) wont get updated that often.
!!! I DIDNT ADAPT TO RECENT ULTIMATE CHANGES ALREADY !!!

+ Good Clear Speed
+ Solid Sustain
+ Strong Ganking
+ High Mobility
+ Global Pressure
- Kiteable
- Just non-reliable cc
Rek'Sai is a solid allrounder. She is fine overall, but not really outstanding in anything. Her vision is kinda special and you have to get used to it. Sometimes it can be really helpful, sometimes it can bait you into some bad situations. Keep in mind that you can't see a standing enemy!

Important Notes
Please always read the notes right beside the section name (mouseover). There are the most important informations about the items.
Overall I would recommend playing
Rek'Sai as a tanky Bruiser. In early game you can try to make some plays, later on you are just there to defend your carries, provide vison and less to catch out their backline. That's why I usually build tanky and finish my
Titanic Hydra later on.
Black Cleaver can help you to shred a very tanky enemy team, while the cdr can be really helpful.

Some hints:
1. Always do your masteries before the game starts. So you are able to react to some special picks (e.g. Soraka/Lulu + Runic Armor)
2. Try what fits best for you. I got a "default" page here that should always do it's job but not more. Feel free to try something out.
3. Read the Patch Notes and adapt to changes.

Flat AD is usual. I wouldn't recommend going for full AS, because you get AS through the passive of ![]() |
![]() |
Simply for more sustain (especially in the jungle) and more overall tankiness. In my opinion there is no alternative for this, some might go for Health/Lvl. |

I would recommend some Attackspeed here to speed up your jungle clear and to get your ![]() |
Use your
Burrow / Unburrow as often as possible in the jungle. Usually you can make two
Queen's Wrath rotations before using your knockup again. Often it's useful to stay burrowed for a few seconds to get use of your Fury (heal up). Additionaly damage them with
Prey Seeker while kiting away to negotiate damage.
Be burrowed as much as possible, so you have vision across walls and heal up (if you have Fury). When ganking or crossing the river I would recommend to unburrow sometimes to spot Control Wards. Sometimes it might be important to unburrow to identify the enemies.
Your
Furious Bite damage increasing according to your current Fury. When you have a full Fury bar it will deal true damage.
Furious Bite in combination with
Smite is a perfect execute for jungle camps or epic monsters.
Always put some
Tunnel's down in your own jungle. Also it makes sense to prepare a big objective with a lot of tunnels around. On the one hand this provides mobility, on the other hand every tunnel is a spot to use your
Void Rush.
A combination of
Flash and
Unburrow is nearly undogdable for enemies.
In late fights you can try to protect your Carrys through standing right beside them, ready to knock up every upcoming assassin (or other threats).
Ask your laners where wards are to know when and how to gank.
Rek'Sai can take some interesting ways to gank toplane and botlane, since she is able to cross big walls.
Try to use your
Tunnel as late as possible to react to
Flash or other escape skills. To properly gank it's sometimes the best way to walk up to your enemy as far as possible.
Queen's Wrath can work as a AA reset. Use it right after doing an AA.
Void Rush can be a very efficient escape in some situations, since it just has 1.5 seconds channel time.
You can easily heal up with the Scuttler's Crab. Just kill it and use the gained Fury.

Of course you can always post your question right here on Mobafire or you can add me directly in LoL (EUW: Matz). Also if you found something that should be improved in your opinion feel free to say.
I hope you can be a better
Rek'Sai now :). Best wishes and luck on the fields of justice!
