You could run Replenishment if you find that your mana regen problems are only early game, but these scale much better at around level 7.
You need your E up, so every bit helps when you don't have the Intelligence mastery.
For a small boost late-game.
Kayle's starting AD was nerfed in addition to not getting the bonus from her old passive, so this helps with last-hitting without your E. However, her Q now has a 1:1 bonus AD ratio, so this will boost that too.

Max your E first because the splash damage is crazy. Get Q next for the damage amp and slow, but don't spam it. Max your W last because the heal is negligible and so is the speed boost.
Get whenever you can, and DO NOT USE IT ON SOMEONE WITH LOW HEALTH. Unless, of course, everyone on the opposing team is dead. No damage at all for 3 seconds is meant to block large bursts of damage, not to escape.
Use on the carry, then proceed to the holy snot out of them. With your shredding items and passive, you'll be doing lots of damage. Try not to spam because the mana cost is high and the cooldown is low.
