Introduction

Hi, this is my second build and I hope it helps you out playing Riven because people are usually confused about her. Please keep positive feedback and help me improve by just giving some things you might think would work better and I will try to test it out. I personally like building her this way because first of all we don't really need attack speed with all your combos. It also removes a lot of the squishy so we can make her a real fighter.

Note:First build is classic mode, Second build is Dominion

Summoner Spells

: It's really a useful spell to have around. You can either chase or get away. Don't forget that it also is extremely useful against people like Tryndamere, Master Yi and other right click to win champions. I know it has definitely saved me in a 1v1 with a solid DPS champ.

: Another spell which can be used offensively or defensively to chase that last enemy and get your combo in to stop them from escaping or just to get your self as far from danger as possible.

Flash Always a nice spell to have around if you wanna get in or get out of sticky situations.

Items

I always like to buy Phage first because it later builds into a Frozen Mallet which definitely helps your squishiness. I also get it over a dorans because it is just likie the dorans blade with more damage and health just minus the little life steal. Depending on the team I usually start with a Long Sword and a health pot to keep me in lane and do damage, or if you have a strong damage dealer get a ruby crystal so you can keep them CCed somewhat.

Later frozen mallet can be bought either before or after your Infinity Edge so to see if you need the extra health when you are getting focused down too much. For the last item you can also get a Bloodthirster if you really are just destroying and don't need the extra survivability.

Combos

Some nice combos I use for certain occasions.

Chasing: I usually go Q>Q>E>Q>W this way you can catch up or possibly jump ahead of your opponent and are able to knock them the opposite direction and stun them if they still want to go the same direction.

Harassing: For the most part I go around in a bush use Q once then dive in with the 2nd and Ki Burst to stun then and then my last Q and dash out with Valor If you are confident you can dive in with all 3 of your broken wings because people are usually scared.

Fights: Start up your Blade of the Exile and use valor to get close and use broken wings, ALWAYS TRY TO AUTO ATTACK IN BETWEEN BROKEN WINGS!. If you can't then on your 3rd broken wings auto attack once then stun so you all your charges don't go to waste. Always save your wind slash for the best time like if they are running just out of reach and around a wall.

Farming

For farming just stand up to the cater minions preferably and just broken wings, then ki burst to finish them off. Eventually you wont even need ki burst, but if you are against a ranged opponent dash in with Valor and then Ki Burst to get the last hits then broken wings away or just walk if they aren't attentive.

Skill Sequence

I chose to max out Broken Wings first because in my eyes its what defines Riven, and also is one of your main spells for chasing and doing damage. Ranking it up first also allows you to do more damage when harassing.
