INTRODUCTION

Hello and welcome to my Ryze guide. This is the ultimate guide on how to learn how to play Ryze like a boss.

Lets start with a bit of an introduction to Ryze

Ryze is probably the best burst champion in the game. If you feed the Ryze, you are more than likely to lose.

I like to play him because he is an easy champion to learn and he does not require that much skill to master. However, when you do master him and his combo, he is unbeatable.

Pros + Really good burst champ. + Can farm creeps insanely fast. + Tele-ganks are insane with the high burst damage. + Really easy to play. + Counters almost everyone, mid lane is insanely easy as Ryze.

Cons - Really weak against Cassiopeia and LeBlanc - He is only good if he gets fed or a decent number of kills. Useless if he has a bad KD. - He is strong, but not invincible, don't engage a team on your own as Ryze - At the start of the game, Ryze is EXTREMELY mana hungry. Always get blue and build mana items.

Ryze has extremely good burst and creep farm ability. However, at the start of the game he is very mana hungry so you don't want to do wasting your mana by spamming abilities to get farm.

At the start of the game, all you want to do is last hit minions to get your farm. This will save mana but get you alot of farm if you know how to last hit effectively. However, when you get into late game and you have alot of mana and have blue buff, using your ulti and is really effective.

Make sure you take any jungle monsters whenever you can for extra farm to get ahead. If you're jungler is ganking or isn't at wolfs/wraiths, take them quickly.

Ryze shouldn't be the engager. The tank of your team should engage and then Ryze should jump in and take the enemy by surprise with his insane burst damage.

If you are getting chased down by the entire enemy team, you should use Rune Prison to stun their strongest then use Desperate Power for the movement speed bonus.

The only thing I can recommend for Ryze in teamfights is to just spam your abilities and hope for the best :)
