Introduction
My name is Andraios, I am a Diamond V Rengar main with currently more than 270k rengar mastery points. In this guide I want to show you how to dominate games and climb the soloq ladder.
Feedback is highly appreciated for this is my first guide, and I'll be updating it as much as I can,
enjoy!
As for runes, I prefer going flat AD on my marks, armour on my seals, flat cooldown reduction on my glyphs and attack speed on my quintessences.
The attack speed quintessences are mostly for your early jungle clear, which will be greatly improved because of the increase in attack speed, I prefer this over flat AD quintessences.
I take flat cooldown reduction glyphs because it gives you a great edge in cooldowns in the early game and gives you the opportunity to make more use out of your ultimates, especially if you rush level 6.

For my keystone I run thunderlord's decree, this keystone gives the extra punch to your damage output and enhances the chances of you killing your target before them even noticing you.
In the ferocity tree, I prefer going sorcery over fury because rengar is more a caster than an auto attacker, sorcery greatly improves his q and e in damage and is therefore the better option.
In the cunning tree, I prefer going assasin over runic affinity because Rengar is made to assasinate targets and is great at dealing with squishy targets when they are on their own.

Regarding items, you can either go the damage build, or a more bruiser/off-tank build. Personally I prefer going the bruiser/off-tank build because it gives you the opportunity to do a lot of damage while staying alive in teamfights after you have jumped in on the backline.
The choice either to go full damage or off-tank greatly relies on the composition of the enemy team and your team. If your team lacks damage, you'll prefer to build more damage, if your team lacks tankiness, concider a more off-tank build.
As for the level 6 rush, after you have cleared all the small camps, you are able to buy a Hunter's Talisman. Both the Hunter's Machete and the Hunter's Talisman have a passive that gives you +15 bonus experience off of killing a large monster, this is the reason a lvl 6 rush is possible, since with both items, you now gain +30 bonus experience off of killing a large monster.
In the early game, it is very important you rush your stalkers blade with the warrior enchantment as soon as possible, it not only gives you a great boost in damage because it gives you 60 AD, but the 10% cooldown reduction help greatly in using your ultimate to the full potential.
After you finish your stalkers blade with the warrior enchantment and your boots of speed, you want to rush youmuu's ghostblade and mobility boots. Both items help you get more pressure on the map since your mobility will be through the roof.
Your tiamat helps you with quickly clearing your jungle, as well as with bursting enemies.
Now it gets interesting, it's time to make the choice either to build damage, or to build tankiness. The choice either to go tanky or to go damage as earlier said, depends on the enemy team. It is also possible to first go damage, and then get some tanky items such as a Sterak's Gage, or a Dead Man's Plate.

Before level 6, Rengar is not the best ganker in the game, his ganks are even fairly weak compared to others, this is why the level 6 rush is so handy.
Rengar's level 6 gives him the ability to get a very good gank off, his ultimate is amazing for sneaking up on unsuspecting lanes and annihilating the enemy laner(s).
Most of the time, you want to use your ferocity stack on your bola strike, the root that it gives is the only hard cc you have in your kit and is therefore very usefull during ganks.
When you don't have your ultimate up, try to use the bushes to leap onto your target using your passive, if you have 6 bonetooth necklace stacks, your leap range is very large and makes for a huge gap closer, you can even jump from the sidebushes on the midlane to an enemy in the middle of the lane.
