Itemization for Fiora doesn't really change too much. But your starting items are going to directly influence your game and the game's outcome. If you start the wrong item, then you are going to be in for a tough time. So remember, start the right item and built what you need to win. With that said, let's get into Fiora's item build.
You have 3 major item starting items. If you are in a good matchup, such as against a tank then you can take Doran's Blade. This item is good if you can win the lane. If you are in a hard matchup and against a ranged one such as Teemo or 50.png Swain then you should not start Doran's Blade, instead, you want to take either Doran's Shield or Corrupting Potion. Corruption Potion is very good against heavy sustain enemies and enemies that like to fight often. Corrupting Potion is good against champions like Renekton, Darius, Jax, and Maokai. In the majority of cases, your first item is going to be Ravenous Hydra. This is a great item for Fiora because it gives her a range of bonuses that allow her to deal insane damage early and a strong active that can help you in a lane. Unfortunately, Ravenous Hydra doesn't offer any cooldown reduction, however, it gives you life steal, damage and health regen. This is overall a great item on Fiora. By the time you have your first item complete, it should be roughly the same time or briefly after that you get your free boots. You know what that means? You want to purchase and upgrade your Boots and get either Ninja Tabi or Mercury Treads. If you are against an enemy team who is mostly AD then I recommend getting Ninja Tabi, and if you're against an AP Champion or AP dominant team, then I recommend getting Mercury Treads. Your third major item is going to be Tri-Force. You can get Trinity Force first if you wish after Tiamat if you want to instead of buying Ravenous Hydra. Tri-force is currently a very good item on Fiora because it gives you a range of benefits and also cooldown reduction. This is good on Fiora because it will allow her to use her abilities more freely. This is currently a strong choice and is better economic wise. For your 4th item, I recommend that you get Sterak's Gage. This item will give you, even more, sustain in team fights thanks to the shield passive it will give you in team fights. For your 5th item, you want to get Guardian's Angel. This is a great item and will allow you to become revived in team fights. Especially in the later stages of the game, Guardian's Angel can win you the fight, but beware- you may need to "avoid" team fights when it's down. For your final item, you want to get a tanky/ defensive item such as some of the ones suggested in the "Situational Section." I personally like to get Dead Man's Plate or 3065.png Spirit Visage.
Situational Stuff:
You can purchase Tiamat first, instead of upgrading it to Ravenous Hydra straight away, you can pick up Trinity Force instead and purchase the upgrade to Tiamat as your third item.
If you're against a heavy AD team or a heavy ranged team such as double ADC, then you should get Ninja Tabi. if the enemy is multiple AP, then get g Mercury Treads.
If you are suffering in a lane against an AP Champion such as Swain, Teemo, Vladimir or Kennen then you could purchase an early hexdrinker.

Your early game as Fiora is pretty easy and simple. But if you're against a ranged champion then it will be slightly harder. If you're against a melee champion take the normal start taking either Corrupting Potion or Doran's Blade, but if you're against a ranged champion like Quinn or Swain then you will have to play relatively safe and take Doran's Shield to survive the lane. Ideally, you will never be against a ranged champion. If you're against a melee champion then you need to abuse Kleptomancy. You should try to use your abilities- especially your Q on the enemy and constantly harass them whenever they come to take the farm. Your main goal is to become fed and constantly pressure Top lane.
Things to remember during your laning phase:
- You need to hit level 2 before the enemy. You need this do this and go aggressive early. - This will also prevent you from being chunked down level 2.
- You should trade when the enemy goes to farm. You need to trade auto attacks and use your Q on the enemy.
- If you let the enemy push, you can chase them down quite easily.
- Remember to ward and play relativly passive after 3 minutes until the Jungler shows somewhere.

Pros of Fiora Top:
- Great at skirmishing.
- Great at fighting.
- Incredibly good at wave clearing and split pushing.
- Easy to learn with not too many combos.
- Has rather good sustain with her item choices. If you take Corrupting Potion, you will get a lot off sustain.
- Doran's Shield will give you a ton of regen in the laning phase and Ravenous Hydra will also help you sustain.
- High mobility in the later stages of the game- especially with low cooldown reduction.
- She can stop heavy CC or poke with her W.
Cons of Fiora Top:
- She is a melee champion and can be easily kited by ranged champions.
- Relies heavily on getting a good early game.
- Is incredibly weak if she is facing a ranged champion in lane such as a Teemo or Quinn. In these matchups, I recommend starting either Doran's Shield or Corrupting Potion.
- When using your Ultimate- you are very predicatable and it can be hard to get the kill or pop the Healing.
