Champion Build Guide
About me
Hiii, I'm vannilja. I'm a 277 lp peak Sera/Lux mid and Janna support player. I peaked at rank 3 Lux euw. I've been playing Seraphine ever since her release and noticed that there weren't any updated AP builds for her on Mobafire, so I made one.
Items, autopiloting your build and the issues with it
Seraphine has a lot of build options, yet people are still falling into the trap that is the standard Ionian Boots > Blackfire Torch > Seraph's Embrace > Rylai's Crystal Scepter. This build isn't objectively bad and can be very good vs divers. However, in many cases, you don't need Rylai's Crystal Scepter; it only makes your damage output suffer. Rylai's stats aren't what you'd want on her. Her best stats are Ability Power, Ability Haste and Movement Speed. With Rylai, all you get is 75 AP and 400 HP. Of course, people mostly build it for its passive slow, which you often don't need and Cosmic Drive would be better. The only times you should be building it is when you need the lockdown and survivability it gives you. This tends to be when playing into champs that can dive you and their only weakness is CC. Another thing to think about when buying Rylai is that your E should be maxed out or close to max.
Another thing to look out for is autopilot building Liandry's Torment. It's a good item. It's good vs tanks due to its passive, but also assassins as the HP helps you survive. Paired with Blackfire Torch, Seraph's Embrace and Rylai's Crystal Scepter you're very hard to kill. However, you often don't need to be that hard to kill and can afford to opt for more damage-oriented items. If you're, for example, playing her on midlane, you're often going to be the only AP damage on your team. Don't grief your team like that. Buy proper damage items and Sorc shoes.

Enchanterphine
Enchanterphine can work if your team is ahead and you aren't required to deal damage. This isn't as common as you think it is, though. The strongest form of farming enchanterphine is currently Seraph's Embrace -> Helia -> Moonstone with Font of Life. You are not going to have Font of Life, though, because you're playing a carry role. You don't know how strong your other teammates are going to be when fixing your rune page. By taking Font of Life and going heal-kitten Seraphine you're often just griefing your teammates and back-seating. If you already know you want to be a heal-kitten, you can queue support. There is a role for that, and that's support. And even then, guess what, there already is an enchanterphine in the game and her name is Sona.
Another issue you're going to face with this build is that you can't side-lane alone. This can be a huge problem if you're mid, but can work as bot if you're paired with, for example, Senna. But, then you're basically farming support and fasting Senna.

(general) mage matchup guide (mid)
Seraphine is a lot stronger during the laning phase than she used to be. Her skill shots are still slow and unreliable, but you can usually sneak in a q when they walk up to last hit.
