Introduction
A blood-soaked Noxian war hero from a bygone era, he is by far my favorite champion.
He can deny death for a little bit, and can be incredibly tanky! In this guide I will show you how Sion works and why I like him.
I chose these runes specifically to extend Sion's health. While Guardian and Aftershock are effective, I think raising health is a priority. I chose Font of Life next to be more useful to your teammates instead of buffing yourself, and being completely useless. Conditioning and Overgrowth help you get armor, magic resist, and some extra health. Overgrowth works extremely well with your W passive and conditioning helps you in lane. Celestial Body gives you 100+ health and debuffs you with -10 percent damage. To help with this I chose Minion dematerializer so you can get better creep score to help in lane.
Decimate Decimate is the form of cc that you will be using a lot it doesn't do much when you put points into it so I max it last. | Soul Furnace Gives you a health shield but e is more important so I max it second. | Roar of the Slayer Gives enemy a slow and pierces their armor a little bit. |
The one thing that the enemy team hates is Sion's passive. Glory in Death grants resurrection, restoring himself to 100% maximum health but losing 2 - 19 (based on level) every 0.25 seconds, increasing by 70% per subsequent tick.
This is one of the reasons that I like Sion, since he can deny death and take out people when he should be dead like Karthus or Kog'Maw.
