There's no question as to why Lethal Tempo and Alacrity is taken since it means more true damage dealing, more Q resets, better outplays alongside unbeatable healing from the life-steal. Triumph?...heh, it's just a bonus :)

Next, Ravenous Hunter is chosen as one of the Domination tree options due to its stats whereby Yi would receive 14% healing from any type of damage he deals excluding auto attacks. As for Taste of Blood, that is useful for some sustain up to a certain point but however it scales with either AP or AD. The build given has a grand total of 300 AD alone and that is not even added with your base damage so you're gonna heal a large amount....I mean, come on.....it's full life-steal Master Yi.

For those daring players who seek unique fun (Team work and unique skills needed)

Now, those that seek to use this build better hope to have enough cc on ally team or at least have enough experience to dodge enemy cc well. Don't depend on the mercurial scimitar's active ability too much...it'll only prevent you from polishing up your skill to be able to dodge enemy cc with just your Alpha Strike. Only use the mercurial scimitar's active ability when you're REALLY in a pickle. Don't be a wuss. I told you...this is not for the weak-hearted.

Pros / Cons of this build

Pros:
- Allows you to out-sustain any amount of damage in a 1v1.
- Easy Alpha Strike resets and Auto Attack resets with Ravenous Hydra.
- High amount of attack damage and speed that could melt tanks, even those with Thorn mail.
- Squishy enemy champs like ADCs are easy to burst.
- Solo Baron play is not gonna be a problem at all.

Cons:
- Despite being able to use Mercurial Scimitar more frequently to break out of cc, careless use of the active ability leads to vulnerability.
- Still pretty squishy with this build therefore do not go ham unless you are confident that you can win the fight.
