Intro

Welcome! This is my first (and probably last) build about LoL. This is a build for Ability Power Shaco (trust me you don't really need an AD Shaco in dominion). I don't really have much time to write so I'll get to the point.

Runes

In Dominion mode your champion gain Experience Points as hell! So runes/lvl are more efficient here. You don't really need any early game boost. Even if your team sucks at early game with runes/lvl you can turn the tide of the game afterwards.

So:
Greater Quintessence of Potency x9
Greater Mark of Insight x9
Greater Glyph of Force x9
Greater Seal of Vitality Greater Seal of Vitality x9

for a balanced early-mid-late game.

No cooldown Runes needed , items and masteries will give you more than 40% which is the maximum.

Summoner Spells

I go for the Ghost and Garrison spells as i tend to play under turrets.
Others can go for the Ignite for the extra AP from the mastery Burning Embers.

Masteries

As we go for an AP Shaco , all you need from offensive mastery tree is to get to the Archaic Knowledge for the extra Magic Penetration and the CDR from Sorcery
No points needed in the defence mastery tree , you WILL avoid battles with your Deceive.
As for the utility mastery tree you go all the way down to Presence of the Master. You'll need Haste for ghost spell. The others are less important choices I think.

Items

In Dominion you start with 1350 gold. You also gain a lot of gold over time.

You talk with your team that you'll go to the bottom at start.
You grab your Fiendish Codex (1245 gold) for the cooldowns and after a while you go back and grab your Boots of Mobility (1000 gold).
Then build the Codex into a Deathfire Grasp (that will make you a caster and bring down to half life any enemy champion if compining with Two-Shiv Poison
Next codex will become a Morello's Evil Tome (2350 gold). You are now equipped with the maximum CDR!!
At this point you have 3 choices!

1. If you are gonna be the "backdoor" guy and pick up Priscilla's Blessing (1600 gold) for the increased capture rate.

2. If you want to be the guy that is far from any battle and push the creeps at the bottom lane (yes you will be the "annoying" one for the enemy team) you'll probably get an item with life steal and damage like Bilgewater Cutlass (1825 gold) (ofc you'll build it into Hextech Gunblade) and you will have another nuke skill under your sleeve.

3. I really love being the "turret defender" guy and build even more AP items like Rabadon's Deathcap (3600 gold) for the huge AP boost , or the Zhonya's Hourglass (3100 gold) for the great passive (activate it when they are too many enemies under your tower and your spells are on cooldown and let the Jacks in the Box do the job for you (you also give time to your team to come and help you)).

Of course you have free slots to combine these 3 choices!

Skill Sequence

You start the match at level 3 so you take 1 point at each skill. My first priority as a Shaco in Dominion is to max Jack in the Box and Two-Shiv Poison together. I use Deceive for escaping most of the times and give it points only if i am not satisfied with the cooldown. Give points to Hallucinate whenever it's possible to lower its cooldown.

Summary

That's all I had to say! If I forgot something please post a comment about it , I'll try to keep this build up-to-date. Anyone is free to vote without commenting but it could be really helpful if you post a comment also.

Have fun playing Shaco!
