Hello! My name is Dastris, and this is my first ever Mobafire build. In this guide I will discuss what your roll is in your team as Shen, when you use your spells, and how to kick some arse as a ninja!

PROS!

Amazingly tanking and with Tri Force+Wit's End you do a lot of damage
Has a free Teleport to save ANYONE
Doesn't need Blue buff to stay in lane
You're a friggen Ninja

Cons):

Very long ulti CD
Not much damage until Sheen

The runes I used are to enhance your early/mid game mainly. Seeing as these stages are mostly the decided stages in the game you really need to optimize these moments.
I take these Marks for the shear fact that without AP you kinda suck. Magic Pen runes don't do much if you have ZERO AP.
I take these Seals because you're a Tank... You need armor.
I take these Glyphs because you're a tank... Again you need MR.
I use these 'cause you need a lot of HP with this guy to be helpful to your team.

All of my masteries should make sense to you except
brutal force This I chose because you need a little bit of AD early game to do ANY damage.

The sequence in which you get your spells should be straight forward. Max Vorpal Blade then Feint (because you are a tank and you need to be able to take damage) then your Taunt last.

League of Legends is an ever changing game. Therefore, you can feel free to change up the build but the basic items needs




Those items right there are the core of my build. Other than that you can change most of it around to suit your needs as your teams Tank/Support/Ninja.

I start my game off with a followed by a quick . After that you are going to need some HP and since you are a tank and you won't be getting many kills and your main objective is to let your teams carry farm so you need that extra gold per 10 from .

After those items I normally go for , because all tanks need to have some CC reduction and since you don't get much MR till late game with you need that lil' bit of MR.

Now moving onto the greatest thing in the game in my opinion,
This is a must for Shen with out the Sheen proc. and the AP from it you do absolutely no damage. With out it you're just a Ninja meat shield. Who wants to be that?

Now you'll need some big health and HP per 5.... this fits that slot perfectly. Being the greatest HP item in the game and along with your Passive+Vorpral Blade you'll be able to take a **** ton of damage while dishing out a bunch of your own.

For your MR which most likely in any ranked unless you're facing a group of ******s, they will have an AP carry. You will also be able to move extremely fast with Tri Force+ one of my favorite MR items in the game Yaya! This is a wonderful item for those pesky LeBlanc's who piss the hell out of anyone. And one of the core items of any tank.

I take and Mainly because that Flash is amazing in almost any circumstance, either running, chasing, or my favorite KILL STEALING!
Most of you are probably like "Ignite with Shen!!?!?!? Y U NO TAKE HEALZ!!?!?" Well those games with supports such as Sona+Soraka you need that extra damage and the greatest thing ever 50% healing reduction. Seeing as you are a tank you will need that extra damage and also Ignite is a sweet killing tool early game.
But if you absolutely hate Ignite, take


These are some of my person favorite summoner spells. But most of any spells will work with Shen.
