Poke, poke, and poke some more. During laning phase your generally want to poke with your E as much as you can. However, try to do so on the caster minions in the back so that you don't push up the lane too much for your adc. W a few seconds before going in so that you have the option to blow it up for some decent damage. Try to charge Q from the bottom bushes if they are sloppy enough not to ward them. Generally your first ult should be used to get your adc kills. The basic combo is W, then ult in, then E + Q for the CC chain. If your first ult gets your adc ahead,keep an eye on mid lane and see if the enemy ever over extends...if you start your ult from river bush you should be able to hit anyone in mid lane, but aiming it may take a little bit of practice. Other than that, you just need to know some basic positioning for melee support. If you dont know too much, or just need a refresher, I recommend you watch a video or two of aphromoo. Fairly simple, stick with your team. Clear Waves if you get the chance while nobody is around, as it will give you bonus health from your W passive. Don't ult into anything unless your team is on board, and if you do, be sure to ping first. You should be able to tank a lot in fights, and even if you get focused down first you still have a major impact with your undead form. Be sure to cause havoc. Your ult + Q combo is great for stealing objectives.

I have only been playing league for a few months now, so take my guide with a pinch of salt. Haven't even been ranked yet. However, I have found that this build is great for sion. And it works well at all stages of the game. I am mastery Level 6 with sion, with the shards to get him to 7..just not the essence. I currently have a 66% win rate with sion in normals with 29 games played. I know it isn't much, but I figured I knew him well enough to make this guide. This is my first guide, so I hope it is up to par with everyone's standards.
