First i want u to notice that this is my first guide on mobafire and this is not THE way to play Skarner but for me it works pretty well.

This Skarner built is inteneded for an agressive playstyle against all champions without heavy escapes or movement speed buffs. It has a high duell potential which u have to use or u will lose the game since u are dps. The most important point is to kepp pressure all day while u are farming. The mana items will help u to spam ur skills harrassing the enemy. U have to stick on him the whole laning phase and push down his health bar while ur own health is anytime due to ur incredible sustain.

- high ms with w
- low cooldwons
- scales well late game
- played right a lane bully
- high duell potential

Contra :
- kiteable
- no heavy engage
- weak against some rangeds in lane

I think he is viable in ranked right now. U can pick against garen for example. I would not recommend blind pick!

U can use e+q on a complete minion wave to get the most possible heal.
Try to poke enemy with e. If u have tear of goddes spam it.
