When I started this build and fine tuning it a tiny bit I began noticing that Yi's Q cools down quicker the faster he can attack. Thus I began working around that notion. This is just my suggestion you may use this guide to twist and turn it anyway to further your own needs. With this build I have also had few issues running any lane.

For Yi it is very simple. Get level 6 and his combo is very easy R,E,Q repeat Q on cool down W for meditate where needed if it helps with survivability while waiting for Q.

This build can be frustrating to start if your opposing team is leading you on to harass you. In terms you have to hit fast and hard to make them rethink this theory. Also depending on who your facing it may take a bit for the build to take fruition unless you are able to get either some jungle monster kills or champion kills.
