Xayah is one of the newest champions released and is probably the one who is also most played ATM. She is very strong, has high DPS and crit sync. and can also collapse a whole team if positioned correctly. In this guide I will be talking about her strenghts and weaknessses which she has a few of. This guide will go through most of the decision made and hopefully explain to you in a very simple way why and what you might consider if you dislike the options given.

Let's hit it of by talking about the runes I chose!

It is very important for Xayah to use her ATS for trading (W syncs perfectly to this). Therefore I believe the strongest rune choise is to get a lot of ATS and some smaller flat AD. The 13.5% ATS is good for trading, and the 9 AD from Reds also makes her trades better. It is also okay to switch these, Reds to ATS and Quins to Flat AD. But I prefer having more ATS for farming and quick trades. This is also why we have chosen Fevor as our keystone, for the tradings and ATS to rapidly gain slightly more AD in the heat of the fight! You can also if you prefer to play safely in early switch the Yellows Armor to Scaling Health. But you will be weaker to dmg early but "tankier" later. Same goes with Blues but for Magic Resist.

ATS as said before is great. The whole face of Xayah is to have DPS. And that's what I have collected and brought together. ATS in runes, masteries and in Items. 4% ATS is way more valuable in farming and quick tradings than 2% Ability Damage. Therefore Fury is the better choice. Battle Trance was also the best option for Xayah as she has to "set up" before fighting. She can't simply go all in like a over attached girlfriend. She has to prepare somewhat, and drag out the fights. With low cooldowns she has the advantage if the fight goes on longer. And after a few seconds she gets 3% more DMG which works perfectly with her "set up" kit. This is not Draven who can go balls deep instantly. Fevor is also the best masterykey you currently can use. With more ATS you gain a small portion of AD faster when trading and for late game.

I tried out all the different items builds for Xayah

And the best one was the one I've put together. With Essance you have very good sustain with low cooldowns. You also get the damage for burst oppertunities which often occurs. Infinity edge offers the same but with less mobility and less sustain. With Essence Reaver you can trade and farm without thinking as much of "Where the fk did all my mana go?" as the enemy jungler gomes to gank. You will almost never run out of mana as long as you can AA minions or nearby enemies to get those crits in. This is why I chose Statik Shiv as second item.

Statik Shiv

It gives AMAZING clearing and burst if nesecary. Shoving lanes has never been easier! This also gives you extra Crit Chance for your E damage and your Essence Reavers passive for mana. It is very well rounded and gives everything you ask for. Damage, crit, and DPS.

Infity Edge

This will be your little Rakan, your lover. When you get this as your Third Item you will DEMOLISH the enemy team. Believe me, with the amount of crit you have will all these items very few can stand in your way. After you have gotten these 3 items you have somewhat free hands.

Remaining

The remaining items are ooptional and a little situational. I highly recommend the ones I showed but getting a Hurrican or Firecannon instead of Phantom Dancer might work in some situations where a Phantom Dancer isn't as useful. BloodThirster can also as stated in my notes be switched to a Blade of The Ruined King. This is mostly if the enemy team is VERY tanky and has a lot of health. If they have a lot of armor you can get a dominiks Regards instead.

Here will be the pros and cons for Xayah as ADC.

Pros

-High ATS
-Pushing power
-Great Sync. with Rakan
-Good with AA pasive supports
-Strong on ADC's who take a lot of time to deal damage
-HIGH burst
-Good amount of CC
-Can snare whole teams
-Can escape rather well with E snare

Cons

-Somewhat Immobile
-Weak to long range
-Hard to chase with
-Weak to mobile champions
-Needs to "set up" before

Maxing Q is very good for trading as she sets up for her E afterwards. And it deals decent amount of damage which can really push waves and hurt from a long range. But W with a Rakan as support can be even better depending on what the matchup is. But in most cases I hihgly recommend Q > E > W as W gives you enought ATS to deal damage and Q's low CD gives great impact for a E snare. And Maxin E second gives you the great burst that you get from IE and Statik Shiv. W is still very useful without being maxed early. It gives you the amount of ATS and Movement speed you need without upgrading it. Max R of course whenever you can.

For a very good setup on a kill, I recommend you use Q first in lane, do 1 Auto Attack and then E. If you do this quick enough you will end up by snaring the enemy who got hit or the enemies and probably giving you a free kill. It comes out of the blue and works wonders.

Doing R to dodge e.g: and Ashe Ultimate and then using E for escape is also a mechanic which helps you escape. If the enemy is close to you when you finish your R simply E and they will highly likely get Snared and take heavy dmg.
