Introduction
So esentially when playing support Ekko you want to play him like he's still a midlaner... but without all the money and items. Since you're a support, that obviously means you won't be doing nearly the same damage as a mid Ekko, but don't be fooled! Ekko's damage in the botlane is still pretty high, his Q and E still give him good burst when played as a support.
Exhaust is the best option with Ekko support, as every bit of CC you can get in to help your ADC win the lane is a good thing. Plus, the armor and MR reduction is very helpful in those all-ins and trades.
Flash is mandatory. Need I say more?
Ignite is also a good option if you and your ADC want to go super aggressive and try for that first blood or early kill.
Heal would probably be the only other summoner worth mentioning; it does provide a nice heal to your ADC, as Ekko has no healing ablities of his own. It's also nice for the extra movespeed as well.

Starting Options:
1.
Spellthief's Edge, 3 Biscuit(b0y)s?, 1 mana pot
- You can get a stealth ward for early brush control if you choose
2.
Relic Shield, 3 biscuits, 1 mana pot
- This start is interesting, since Ekko has a melee attack it is way easier to proc the relic stacks. I've played with several ADC's who would rather have the sustain instead, such as Ashe.
Core:
You'll want to get Luden's echo right after you finish your boots and sightstone. This Item actually lets support Ekko do a surprising amount of damage. Usually the game will end, win or lose before I get other items on him, but if it goes longer I pick up Athene's Grail for the Mana. Zhonya's isn't a bad choice either!

With support Ekko, you'll want to hit as many q's as possible to poke the enemy bot lane. When being ganked or helping your jungler gank, set up nasty stuns with your W. In one of my games a Master Yi always went for my ADC; I would throw down the W and my AD would hang around in it. Escaping ganks was " 2 EZ". Remember your ult does .... uh... Tons of Damage so even you, yes you can almost one shot squishies as well, provided you land a nice ult. If your team has good tanks that go for the back line like Maokai or Sejuani... follow them in! Even if you don't get the kill, you can still zone incredibly well.
