She's a real pain because of the short cooldown on jumps, and you don't have a way to stop her ultimate. Play safe and wait for her to over commit.
About me
I'm a returning Diamond player working on that grind to master tier. In season 6 I had too much school/work on my plate and wasn't able to play League for about 10 months. I've spent about a month re-learning the game and now I am about ready to make the climb again. I used to main Talon in season 3 and after the rework I've enjoyed playing him again.
His Q heals you if you cs with it which gives you an awesome utility for staying in lane longer, even against ranged opponents.
His E allows you to move around the map fluidly and you can take paths that are far less likely to be warded.
His W is a great mechanic for setting yourself up for a kill as it applies two stacks of his passive.
Finally, Talons R allows you to either get a quick kill or escape from a bad situation and the cooldown is relatively short.
A good Talon player is almost like having a second jungler because of his great mobility and kill potential.
Ghostblade is extremely gold efficient and it has everything that Talon needs to be successful. Lethality plays a big factor in his mid game power spike, and the movement speed increase helps him roam/catch.
Duskblade and Hydra can be interchanged base on your playstyle. I like to go hydra first because it allows me to stay out longer because of the sustain. However, dusk-blade gives you a huge advantage for assassinations because of your ultimate. It triggers the true damage passive which is insane for bursting even bruisers.
This is a mistake most of the time. Talon has a stronger early game than most people think, and it's important to take advantage of it.
Use your q to jump to your opponent and auto twice to proc thunderlords, even against ranged champions you will win the trade because of the high burst of your q.
Level 2 and on: Rake first if its in range to hit both times. Then while your rake is traveling jump in with your q and proc your passive and thunderlords. If you have ult try to wait before using it so your q will be back off cooldown to finish off the opponent.
Will continue guide tomorrow.
