Champion Build Guide
Core Concept and Explanation
(Read notes tied to each part of build) This Aatrox build makes you very hard to kill. You can easily 1v2 or 1v3 with this build. Grasp synergizes so well with Aatrox's passive and allows for healthy trading at all stages of the game. So many times I've survived and defeated the enemy jungler and Top laner because of the combination of grasp, passive auto and Triumph. I know that Conqueror is considered the optimal choice but its difficult to proc in lane and the heals and damage you get from Grasp are consistent throughout all stages of the game. The Resolve tree plays right into Aatrox's strengths. As a resource-less champion you are able to out sustain your opponent and stay in lane forever. Demolish helps you secure plates and snowball your lead in the top lane, while revitalize and second wind(in conjunction with Doran's Shield and Doran's blade)keep you healthy during the laning phase. With Precision as the secondary tree you benefit from last stand which fits perfectly into Aatrox's playstyle and Triumph allows for you to commit to tower dives and to come out of 1v2's alive, healthy and with some extra gold to top it off. The Domination Tree is also an option for the secondary tree (Taste of Blood, Ravenous Hunter) but seeing as Ravenous Hunter is getting nerfed I don't think its worth it. I also just think that Triumph and Last Stand better synergize with the build and Aatrox's playstyle. The combination of Cinder and Bramble in the early game punishes any melee laner who decides to engage in an extended trade. You will be nearly unkillable and still put out tremendous amounts of damage. The combination of items compliment all of Aatrox's strengths while also adding a level of tankiness that the enemy team will never expect. Have fun dominating your opposing laners and hard carrying games as Tanktrox. I hope you try it out and enjoy playing as the unstoppable killing machine as much as I do.
