The Fracture in this Gem:
Before we dive into runes, masteries and such let's get something straight. Unlike most Taric's where you just kinda take hits and get called gay. If built right, this Taric will be just as powerful as a man who would actually wear a suit made of gems. Thus This build is basically just to see if an AD Tank with possible AP additions would be pretty alright. And to my surprise I was very able to do well. So With this little paragraph of gemtastic quality out of the way let's rip open the guts of this guide.
For the rune set up, I'll admit.... It's pretty bad. I didn't really have the time to make this rune page optimized for the build. And by that I mean I was lazy. Now in the future I will be adjusting this. And you have my word that I will edit that page!
Otherwise it's just your typical rune page for AD champs which I will eventually rework to be made more for AD/AP/Tank which might actually be a challenge. Once again anyone can feel free to give me notes and idea's as to a solution I'm always willing to take advice ^.^
*Once I edit the rune page I will make sure to rewrite this chapter*

The mastery setup for this build is essentially what anyone would build for a tank support like Taric. At least for this current version of the game. As for why I choose those particular masteries. Well do some research and look at the page. The site will tell you exactly what the game would tell you about the mastery. As in..... it'll explain what the mastery does. Duh.
The items I've chosen for this build were chosen quite carefully based off of their stats. Which means I scrolled through the items list and found what could make Taric have good unique passives as well as a fair amount of Attack Damage and Armor/Magic Resist. As well as adding in a few items to make Taric have an added AP touch. Otherwise all I can say to really do other then adjust to situations is refer back to my Cho'Gath Guide to understand that one should always play and learn their own way to play any champion. Which will then influence your decision to take advantage of this guide.
The Summoner Spells I have chosen for this build are what you'd normally see for a support in SR. Taking into consideration Taric's slow nature, I think exhaust would be a great help when you are fighting off an enemy by yourself. Which with this build makes you quite able to do enough damage to kill most opposing champions! Of course you may tweak any of these summoner spells to whatever you please. I've tried this build with teleport and I felt like it was helpful. Buuuuuutt not entirely necessary. Of course also referring back To Cho'Gath's Guide, this is all based off of your own personal preference. So whatever you do Good luck, and like all of us will say from one time or another. Have fun.
Once again a few helpful tips from The Love Sock:
1: You tanky bastard you ;) Be in the front of these fights like you should silly.
2: Always hit. Even if you feel like all hopes are lost in your teamfight, keep hitting. You're a man/woman
3: Always remember this build isn't exactly "meta" so don't be surprised if it doesn't work out sometimes.
And that's about it.
No Joke....
