Introduction
This guide may not cover all of your doubts but I'll be here to answer them and update this Guide as long as I'm here.
First thing you should know is that you shouldn't follow a guide to the letter at all. Your game play threads what you should wear or do.
There are many ways to play Taric but others than this one or few other types of support Taric will lead you to trolling or to lucky wins
Summoner's Wrath : Improves our Exhaust so our AD Carry can easily nuke the enemy focused
Brute Force : Gives Taric a welcoming AD
Sorcery: 4% Cooldown reduction that will help you a lot early game
Summoner's Insight & Mastermind : Decreases your flash cooldown so you can make a combo that will devastate your enemy in every situation (Later explain)
Expanded Mind & Meditation : Yes, you are mana hungry you need this
Scout : One of your tasks is to ward, and ward properly for that you'll need this
Greed : Additional 2Gold every 10secs will help you a lot(Later explain)
Wealth : A good Support for your early game since you'll need to get as many Wards and Pots as you can.
Awareness & Sage : Level faster get your skills up as fast as possible and you'll have your job a lot simplified
Intelligence : 6% Cooldown reduction that makes 10% - and your job getting easier
- Greater Quintessence of Gold: Addional 3 Gold every 10 Sec
- Greater Mark of Armor: Additional 8,19 Armor
- Greater Glyph of Magic Resist: Additional 12,06 Magic Resist
- Greater Seal of Armor: Additional 12,69 Armor
About Armor & MR: All together gives you an additional 20,88 armor and additonal 12,69 Magic Resist
Exhaust: Needed to disable enemy AD Carry while your AD Carry damages him |
space |
Flash: Needed to gauge or dodge the enemy |
space |
Clairvoyance: Some may prefer this one but in my point of view seems kinda of useless mid/late game |
We want to choose as the first skill Dazzle so you can have early CC and lane control even at Lv. 1. As for the 2nd skill we'll want to get Imbue to give our AD Carry and ourselves some sustain. As for the 3rd skill we want to pick Shatter and then maximize it for greater nukes.
This will be the powerful nuke that you'll use, You'll disable an opponent for real and if he isn't a Tank you may kill him if your not careful (Supports don't usually get kills). You'll make your AD Carry job easier and feed him like a boss.
Most of Taric's don't use this at all since they play very defensive or just poke and run, however Taric is well tanky to carry a whole Team for some time.
- : Needed early game to improve your MP5, and to upgrade it to a Philosopher's Stone
-
: // I usually use one of this to counter other supports warding early game
- Sight Ward: You can use this one to put wherever you need or want
-
: Quick sustain without the waste of mana
-
: Quick sustain without the waste of mana
- : Quick regeneration of mana in a important occasion
// I finish telling you reader that a Guide shouldn't be followed to the letter and you should always be flexible when playing.
// This Guide will be updated often since this is just the first phase of it, I will make additions in future to this guide but won't edit since this is the current best way to play Taric, in Madbrew's point of view.
