Hi everyone!
I'm not a pro but i've played several times with ev*. It's one of my favourites, and i would like to show u how i play. I've never tried it in ranked games, but it works in normal.

Pro
-great burts damage
-invisibility
-high manaregen
-works nicely with hybrid build
-easy to get first blood
-effective at early and mid game
-good mobility
-good escaping
-good ganker
-good midder/farmer
-more fun than most champions
-easy to learn

Cons
-defensless against ganks
-not so effective at late game
-big cooldown on his ultimate

I choose to stack hybrid penetration, that's my favourite 'couse i often kill my enemies w my auto attack's so thats a great choice i think. You can change attack damage to AP 'couse your masteries gives you 5% of your AP on each attack as magic damage, but i found useful to have some AD 'couse you'll be harder to absorb.

As I writed in notes: i start with boots and on my first back i get sheen or the sorcerer's shoes but i often pick the boots of swiftness, and of course at the and of the game i change it...
trinity force and hextech is your most have items. i prefer spell vamp so i always but will of the ainchents as well... the rageblade is good as well after hextech.
Void staff can replace the sorcere's shoes i think... Maw of Malmortius is your only defensive item, i only buy it early if i play against a really poverful mage like xerath or st.


deathfire grasph is a great item... 1 more cc(slowing) and the cd reduction is nice..


Important: never pick any mana stuff exept trinity force(it ll help you in the early game) from ypur passive you have mana regen equal of your 1% mana every sec, so don'y worry personally i've never run out of mana;)

1. pick should be th q spell thats your farming spell, it has almost no cd
2. pick can be w and e spell as well personaly I prefer e
if you go against annie or fizz who has a great burst damage you should pick the w spell again when you reach lv3

without your ulti you should try to bring his hp down with your q spell, try to hit him with his minions. if you get him on half or lover hp you should make sure he doesnt has a stunn or st and if he doesnt you should get him with your q e q combo if he become to run avaw use your w spell then auto attack and q and e when its not on cd, if he stays use auto attack and q e q q q e q combo


if you have your ultimate and your targit is on low hp or has no magis resistation you shoul start with your ultimate to cc him and use the same combo as you used without your ultimate..
in teamfights never go forvard try to be the 2. or 3. and try to get the most enemy you can with your ultimate the use the same combo.
