I've been playing Shyvana quite a lot at Jungle, and I'm playing her mid lane now, and it has been a BREEZE. She is a strong scaling champion that is quite versatile when it comes to builds such as AP and AD, Tank, Bruiser, etc. She can do it all, and quite well at that.
I go the full AP route with her almost all the time, sometimes I build tank items or magic resist depending on the situation, but when in situations where you are full AP, in a game against assassins, or even in games against tanky champions like Warwick or Nasus, you will likely be doing the most damage, and/or have the most kills.
I was inspired to make this guide after going 22/4/11 mid lane and having 7k more damage than everyone on my team COMBINED.I decided to keep this short and sweet for you guys since this champion is often looked over due to many meta champs. But this is possibly one of the most underrated champions you can choose for mid lane. Obviously full AP means you will be pretty squishy, but who needs health when you can one shot people with your E nuke in dragon form, right?
