Very hard in the early game. He can just invade you in the first minutes of the game. He will probably gank many times in the early game or just counter jungles you hard and you cant really do something about that

Champion Build Guide
Hey Summoners,
I am Cap. Im from Germany and I started playing League of Legends in the end of season 2. I mostly played adc and mid. In season 8, I decided to switch my main role to jungle. I started playing Evelynn after her rework, cause I liked her new kit.
And now I am a Evelynn OTP in Season 8. I wanted to share my experience with Evelynn. So thats why I created this guide. Im currently Gold 1 cause I didnt play that much League the past year. But I am used to be a high platin/diamond player

Nicknames: Eve, Sirene Jungler ganking potential: Strong when lvl 6 Speciality: Camouflage Evelynn The Oneshot Queen: Within the dark seams of Runeterra, the demon Evelynn searches for her next victim. She lures in prey with the voluptuous façade of a human female, but once a person succumbs to her charms, Evelynn’s true form is unleashed. She then subjects her victim to unspeakable torment, gratifying herself with their pain. To the demon, these liaisons are innocent flings. To the rest of Runeterra, they are ghoulish tales of lust gone awry and horrific reminders of the cost of wanton desire. |
|
HATE SPIKE (Q): Landing your first Hate Spike increases the damage for the next 3 abilities or basic attacks. After the first cast, you can cast 3 more spikes. It is important to hit the first part of your Hate Spike because you will get cooldown reduction by hitting jungle monsters. It isnt always necessary to hit the first cast of your Q but the extra damage is a nice feature. |
|
ALLURE (W): With Allure you are able to mark one enemy for 5 seconds. If you break the mark before 2.5s than the enemy gets slowed by 65% and your mana will be refunded. If you break it after 2.5s than the enemy gets charmed. It also reduces their magic resistance by 25% for 4 seconds. You will get bonus magic damage when you use it on jungle creeps. |
|
WHIPLASH (E): Evelynn whips the target wither her lashers, dealing ap damage. She gets 30% movement speed, which gives her a little bit more mobility. Gaining Demon Shade resets Whiplash cooldown and empowers the next cast. Empowered Whiplash: Evelynn dashes toward the enemy target, dealing ap damage as well as damaging all enemies she passes through. Also gains 30% movement speed. |
|
LAST CARESS (R): She becomes untargetable while casting Last Caress, makes massive AOE damage and teleports 400 units back. It is used to execute the enemys. Mostly use it when the enemy has below 30% hp, because you will get extra damage. |
+ good jungle clear + can easily pick out carrys + insane burst + oneshot potential + good solo carry, especially in low elo + strong passive Evelynn is a insane Solo Carry Champion. If you get some lead in the early game, you can easily stomp the enemy team by catching carries and building up a 5vs4 scenario. Your Demon Shade allows you to get big advantages which can carry the game. |
- weak early game, needs lvl 6 - hard to master - difficult, weird playstyle - needs practice to be good in late game - when behind, hard to comeback - high ult cd in early game Evelynn has a pretty weak early game, which means when you get behind it can be very hard to get back into the game. Also her playstyle is kinda strange, you need much practices to master her and get used to her camouflage. |
First of all it's important to know that you dont want to face the enemy jungler in the early game, because literally any jungler can 1vs1 you pre-lvl 6. Before the creeps are spawning I always ward both river sides. This will help you to contest the first scuttle crab.
Pathing Blue Side:
- Red Buff
- Krugs (use smite)
- Raptors
- Wolves
- Blue Buff (use smite)
- Rift Scuttler (Blue Buff Side)
- Gromp (if you know the enemey jgl is on the otherside you could also do Gromp before Scuttle)
Now you will hit lvl 4:
- You can try your first gank with lvl 4 if possible
- Gromp
Pathing Blue Side:
doing the same as for RED SIDEedit: of course there are many other good pathing methods, but this one worked for me really good in the past. And it's important to know that you only want to contest the crabs when you have enough vision on it. You can also try to counter jungle if you know that the enemy jungler is not there
Early Game
- Pre-6 Farm up till you have ulti
- Avoid the enemy jungler
- You can try some early ganks if the enemy laner is in
a bad position
- I prefer to focus the mid and botlane, because these lanes have much more carry
potential than the top laner. When the top laner plays a carry champ like Vladimir
and Fiora or almost any Bruiser then you can also try to gank his lane
- So in general try to gank, when you know that this could be an easy kill
- I really like to do some "in-lane-ganks", because they are pretty easy to
setup with Evelynns
Mid Game
- Use your to get some easy kills
- Try to stay behind the enemys so they cant run away
- Catch the enemy carries a couple of time so they cant get farm and xp
- You can try to get herald and use it to push a lane very hard
edit: her early game is very weak, avoid face to face to the enemy jungler and try to farm up. Her mid game is extremly strong. Catch the enemy carries and you will have an easy game. One last tipp: Just think you are supposed to be an assassin. What would you do ?
How do assassins behave ?
Late Game
- Catch the enemy carry (the team will be forced to fight 4vs5 which should
be easy for your team to win this fight)
- Stay behind the enemys
- Try to have vision on baron and elder drake
- Dont get caught
- In the late game the opponents will have better outplay potential with
edit: sometimes it will be hard for you to play the late game , because the other team will stand five by five. So you need to find situation where you can pick out one of them and shred him.
