Threats & Synergies
Although being an extremely annoying champion, just wait until you are level 6 to all in her, she can't do anything besides attempt to shield all of the damage you are dealing to her.
While being a very annoying champion, your Tides of Blood can easily take care of his turrets, so he shouldn't be that much of a problem to lane against.
Entirely a skill matchup, but you read this guide which means you should be on the road to success and should easily be able to clap him, like how Jensen said "Can't wait to clap Faker."
Viktor is generally an easy matchup for Vladimir, and you will definitely be seeing him a lot due to the meta picking up the tank Viktor top lane. He won't be able to get his Kleptomancy procs off of you because you're ranged and he usually won't be in range to auto attack you if you're playing behind your minion wave.
Zed definitely is not a hard matchup for Vladimir, because when he uses his Death Mark on you, you use your Sanguine Pool. But, when he roams, he might be an issue for your teach, depending whether or not they have map awareness.
Fizz is not a hard matchup, since you can poke him down with Transfusion and if he tries to go in on you, either use your Sanguine Pool to escape from him, or you can use your Tides of Blood to punish him.
If she tries to jump on you, you can either use your Tides of Blood or you can run away with Sanguine Pool, and because she's melee you can easily harass her with your Transfusion.
If she tries to go in on you at level 6, all you have to do is bait out her ult and then use your Sanguine Pool to deny the reset on her ult.
This match up is a hit or miss. If you can kill her pre-6, then you'll have an easy time winning. If you aren't able to kill her pre-6, she is able to all in you if she baits out your Sanguine Pool. Just rely on baiting out her W and then harassing her with Transfusion.
Early on, you win due to the fact that you can harass him no problem. As soon as he starts to build MR, you automatically lose. He's able to tank your abilities like they're nothing while he proceeds to free farm stacks. There's not really much you can do in this situation besides hope your jungler is able to camp your lane so you can prevent Nasus from getting free stacks.
A good Anivia will be able to combo you with no issues, meaning you're helpless and kind of stuck. Try to play it safe and hope that your jungler will come and help you.
He can't really do much to you besides try and harass you by spreading his E from the minion waves to you. Poke him as much as you can with Transfusion and you should be able to win no problem.
I have about 1K games on Vladimir and he is definitely my favorite champ in the game, no other champ has a similar play style such as his. This is a very easy champ to carry with as well, even if you have people who are inting on you team, (although it does make it a bit tougher to carry.)
Phase Rush allows for Vladimir to gain extreme movement speeds, and is extremely easy to proc with Vladimir's kit. This also allows for you to gain speed with your empowered Q.
Nimbus Cloak paired with Phase Rush allows for Vladimir to gain extreme movement speed, working extremely well with your ult, allowing you to catch up with anyone you're chasing after.
Transcendence allows Vladimir to gain an easy 10% CDR when he hit level 10. CDR is a very important part that revolves highly around your kit, so this is required for you to hit 25% CDR without having to buy items.
Gathering Storm works very well with Vladimir, since he buys Deathcap. By the time you do have you Deathcap, it will be about 20+ minutes, you will have almost 500 AP, which means you will be doing a lot of damage, paired along with Sorcerer Boots and Oblivion Orb, you will be popping all of the squishy champions.
Minion Dematerializer is an extremely good rune to take on Vladimir because not only does it help you take those pesky cannon minions, it gives you bonus damage towards the type of minion that you killed, meaning that you are able to last hit waves easier with your Q and E.
Cosmic Insight allows for Vladimir to start out with an extra 5% CDR at the beginning of the game, which is definitely noticeable. Also, once you have your Protobelt built and you hit level 10, you'll have 25% CDR which allows you to efficiently use your combos in fights.
