About
CountFallenAngel here with your (ever evolving) guide to Aurelion Sol support.
Please feel free to leave your feels below and maybe we can talk or maybe you just need someone to hold your hand... can't help if that is the case, but I digress.
Read through, try it out and try your hardest not to steal your ADC's CS with the Star Forger at the support helm.
Enjoy.
Brush Control is huge for Sol. Not beacue you can hide, because well you can't. Your passive shows through the brush. Really allows you to poke while keeping you from hitting minions with your passive.
Be very mindful of where you are in relation to the enemy minion wave as your passive will last shot minions below a certain health. This is why the brush is a great place for Sol to camp for lvl 1-2.
At 3 you should have your E ready and should begin to look mid lane for the appropriate time time to fly mid. This will require your lane to be pushed past the mid point preferable under enemy turret. Ping your Jungler because at this time most junglers will be ready for their first mid gank and hopefully will be top side.
You will need your mid laner to be slightly push in towards your turret. Inform your ADC that you are moving mid so as not to leave him unaware. At this point you can walk to ward river and after you hit dragon you should be in range to E. Angle this toward the enemy's river wall. Once you hit the wall active Q to allow it to be its largest before hitting mid lane. If all goes well should net a kill and 2 assist.
Back pick up first back items.

This is really when the play potential for Sol comes in.
Just like with all knockback champs, looks for your opportunity to get behind ( where with a stun or with a flash) then proceed to R and enjoy the 1 to 2 kills it will net.
Hopefully after a few assist like this you will have enough for boots of Mobility (turning your your gank ability to the max)

You might have one of the quickest (minus you Malphite) engages in the game.
But with how squishy you are I would avoid this in team fights.
Your job now is to focus on staying back line and peel for your damage dealers.
Your ult can be great at this, but your real money maker your W w/rylai's. Allows for constant slow and allows your damage dealer to focus the important targets.
