Hey i am Thresh is fresh, to explain my name first, i was a thresh main in season 4 and 5. I was platinum in season 6 by playing nocturn jungle. Currently i am gold 1 and aiming for dia in season 7. For now this is my first guide

why 1 critical chance rune ? : maybe not often but someday, someday you will make a hit which is gona hurt alot .
why 6 cd runes ? : your e is strong and stronger when you are playing offtank noc, you are alive for quite a time and it allows you to e more often. Also usefull for your ultimate

i know that much people wont agree and prefer the nearly full ad Nocturn, but going full ad isnt always the best option with Nocturn.

Nocturn ad pros / cons :

Pros
- Fast burst
- Takes out squishy champs pretty easy
- Early / mid pretty strong

cons
- Falls off in late if the enemy team knows how to play against nocturn
- Can be caught easy
- Wont kill more then one in a fight if both teams are as strong

Nocturn offtank pros and cons

Pros
- As strong as ad Nocturn in early
- Titanic hydra allows to take out squishy champs nearly as easy as full ad does
- Wont fall off in late, since he cant be burst down
- Able to engage teamfights without ultimate and keep it for a better situation
- Can escape after killing his target

cons
- Tanks and offtanks can take a while to be killed and can lead to die while focusing them at the end of teamfights
- Lifesteal is your enemy

Mercury's Treads = why do i take Mercury's even if the enemy doesnt have an ap champ ? : Stuns, slows and immobilizes are reduced by 30%. Which is important for offtank nocturn, since he wont die after 1 stun.

BUT if really necessary and the enemy team is full of ad bursters go for ninja tabi's

Titanic Hydra = this item allows you to make a bursting first auto attack on the enemy after you ult

Dead Man's Plate = also a strong item that gives you a strong first auto attack after ult, And makes you more tanky to brin trough the message of a offtank nocturn

Blade of the Ruined King = The attack speed and life steal this item gives to you is already a big + . But the Unique passive of that item allows you to add more burst and a slow to the target

Tiamat = why do i finish Tiamat before the jungle item ? Tiamat helps you clearing camps faster, gives you an additional auto attack that helps you bursting

Youmuu's Ghostblade = get this item if the enemy has too much tanks, for more ad penetration

Skirmisher's Sabre - Warrior = before i was useing the blue jungler item which was stupid, the red one is a better option, since Blade of the Ruined King gives you a slow already, the red one is going to make you burst them even faster
