Who Am I?
My summoner name is Lightrocket2 and I am a GrandMaster Taric Jungle player. The first and only one to get this far while playing it, I finished Season 9 GrandMaster maxing out at 512 LP. After I was featured in a video with Scarra where he was very impressed with my gameplay, I was inspired to teach others how to try it out themselves. The way I have done it for hundreds of games.

My Twitch can be found at the link below! I usually stream Sunday Monday Wednesday Friday at 6PM CST and Saturday 1PM CST.

Wait you are a Taric main, why are you making a Thresh ADC Guide?
Long before I started playing Taric, I was a support main and for a long time, my best support was Thresh. Back then I really didn't know what I was doing and would first item black cleaver every game because I loved the damage, CDR, health, and armor shred. I find that playing thresh like an adc is more fun for me than support.
How does Thresh ADC work?
Thresh ADC does damage by using his E passive which does AP equal to 200% of total AD on hit. This means that if you stack AD, your E is going to do an incredibly high amount of damage. You play more like an assassin than an ADC though, because once your E passive is used you don't have much DPS, and if you fail your one shot in the 3-5 autos it will take you will likely die instead. Here are some pros and cons to Thresh adc:

Pros:

-ADC with CC and Shielding
-Surprising good sustain during lane with ravenous hunter
-Can 1 shot many squishies if they have no defensive items
-Has insane synergies with some supports
-Lantern can save your support or jungler!

Cons:
-Can be outduelled by early adcs
-You have to wait until his E passive is ready to do max damage
-You sometimes can't waste autos on tanks because you need to save burst damage to one shot a squishy
-Has medium range for an ADC
-Bad wave clear
-No AD scaling outside of E passive
Tips for playing Thresh ADC
For your burst combo, most of the damage is getting your autos off with hail of blades, but if you can add your abilities to the combo it does help. The fastest way to do damage is to use your auto immediately. If you need to do as much damage as possible: land Q -> press Q again to go in -> press R -> use E to flay them into R wall-> auto them to death

Another note is that towers DO NOT trigger your E!!!!!! If you are tower seiging feel free to auto as your E passive will stay ready, if anyone comes near while you are hitting turret you can auto them for immediate max damage.

Do NOT forget to pick up your souls! Not only does this give you more armor and ap to deal with adcs but your W and E damage both scale off of souls so they are very important! Do not forget you can use your W to collect souls in places too far away for you to walk to (like the dragon, raptors, minions dying too far away to pick up, etc)

Synergy with your support is very important, and certain supports can make or break Thresh ADC from carrying to feeding, so I highly recommend looking at the synergies.

To make CSing easier, be sure to use your e passive to it's advantage, the longer you wait for it to charge, the more damage it will do, and this is very important to know for last hitting creeps. Also note that you can use your E and even Q to CS if you time it right so don't forget about it! If they have a frozen wave you can snipe a cannon with your Q if you can't get in range. You can also use Q to pull a cannon closer for your support to use their relic charge on.

Regardless I hope you enjoyed the guide and good luck with Thresh ADC! :)
