Introduction
I will do my best to split each sections into 2 categories, one DPS one AP.
DPS:
GREATER MARK OF ALACRITY
:this attack speed gives you an extra edge early game with gankingGREATER GLYPH OF MALICE
: the extra critical hit chance gives you a bit more punch throughout the game.GREATER SEAL OF FUROR
: combine these with your Glyphs and you suddenly hit harder, more often, and for easy kills.GREATER QUINTESSENCE OF DESOLATION
: this lets your auto attacks level minion waves, as well as provide a crucial base for team fight damage.AP:
GREATER MARK OF INSIGHT
: this gives you the penetration you need to lane with the best of them! it lets you take out multiple minions at a time, and do some decent damage while harassing.GREATER GLYPH OF FOCUS
: the cooldowns help you harass more and also helps you keep your mana up using blue card.GREATER SEA: OF INTELLECT
: mana is as mana does. this gives you a little bit more to work with. i feel it helps you more early game, but thats still helpful!GREATER QUINTESSENCE OF INSIGHT
: again its magic pen for the win! its ideal to have whenever you build any AP champion. and AP TWISTED FATE is not different!DPS:
for the DPS build, you want offense heavy masteries with the last 9 points into utility. with this set up, you gain extra penetration for any attack or ability. the biggest thing to consider with this is that the magic penetration also work with the divine blade, causing your 4th attacks to take away TREMENDOUS amounts of damage with your stacked deck ability. the utility masteries are mainly to get you to the point that you gain longer buffs from the neutral minions. and the extra experience doesnt hurt!
AP:
for the AP build, you are going to want to have a utility mastery heavy tree. you do want the 9 points in offense though, to get the extra magic pen. other than that, its a pretty basic caster tree.
DPS:
the biggest thing that sets this apart from other builds i have seen is the full on FROZEN MALLET. yet, i dont know why you wouldnt have it as a TWISTED FATE player! The 700 health gives you the ability to gank with safety! and the constant stun on attack gives you the ability to chase anyone down, while also using it to slow down those trying to counter gank you. the other item that i feel sets it apart is the use of the SWORD OF THE DIVINE. the biggest part of this item is not the attack speed or the extra 100 magic damage every 4th attack. although those thing are awesome additions, you need to get used to using the active effect. this gives you so much more power early game. its an all around great item to add to the list. especially in combination with your stacked deck ability. the BLACK CLEAVER gives you more attack damage, attack speed, and shred the armor of anyone that gets in your way! this makes you a cruel and efficient tank killer as well. the BLOODTHIRSTER and PHANTOM DANCER are there to help your attacks hit harder, attack faster, and gives you a bit more survivability with the life steal.
AP:
here is the big explanation of this build. you want to get RYLIA'S first thing after the boots. it gives you the survivability and it gives youa slow attack with the newer patches. plus the AP isnt too bad. next i build NASHORS TOOTH. this is, in my own opinion, the item that makes this build work. the attacks speed works with your STACKED DECK ability, the AP never hurts, and the CDR is great too! the rest is pretty straightforward AP. but the order is really up to you as of the last 3 items.
DPS:
you want to upgrade your STACKED DECK ability first and as fast as possible. this ability goes hand in hand with a DPS build! the extra punch helps you out immensely throughout the game! at the same time, you do want to have at least one point in all your other abiliteis though. you want WILD CARDS to harass in lane and you want PICK A CARD for the stun, slow, and mana regain.
AP:
this time, you want to get your WILD CARDS up to max ASAP. this lets you harass with the best of them. but again its important to get a point in all 3 abilities early so that you at least have them available
DPS:
you want IGNITE for those pesky people who somehow, against all odds survive your gank just barely. pop it on them and watch them burn! the GHOST spell is really up to you. i like GHOST because of its versatility. at the same time FLASH is another great option!
AP:
i like to have a bit more chance potential in my AP build, simply because you dont put out quite as must instant damage coming out of the Destiny teleport. other than that the rules are the same. IGNITE AND FLASH are the other options i would recommend.
