Udyr

Udyr Jungler Pheonix

Introduction

Hi this is my first build, so it's probably not so good xD
I've played LoL for almost a year now and I've played with several champions.
This build works for me and represents what i think is best to Udyr. So i would appreciate any feedback given... :)

Items

The items in my build is what i think is best to jungle/gank with. There are certainly better items but i chose the ones so i hope u can get good with the items ;)
Health is good to have if u want to gank and don't want to fail.
The last item is optional ( Last Whisper in my build).

Optinal Items

The Bloodthirster - Optinal if you want more lifesteal I dont prefer this because I like to play udyr tanky...
Atma's Impaler - If you play against AD champions you should have this.
Phantom Dancer - For High AS buy this, but it isn't always the best. The reason i dont buy this is the same as BT I like to play Udyr tanky...
Infinity Edge - For more AD and CS.

Runes

I go with:
9x Greater Mark of Alacrity
9x Greater Seal of Resilience
9x Greater Glyph of Shielding
3x Greater Quintessence of Swiftness

Which gives you:
14.94 Armor Penetration
0.585 Mana regen / 5 sec
5.85% Cooldown reduction
6% more experience gained

Early game

Starting Items

I start with Cloth armor and Health potion x5.
After jungling some I return to the shop and buy Vampiric Scepter and if I have enough i buy Long sword.
I jungle some more then i'm from lvl 6-8 I returnto the shop with maybe 1-1.5k then i buy Wriggle's lantern and Boots of speed maybe if I have enough I buy the Boots of Mobility.
Then its much easier to gank.

Mid game

I go jungling and take all the monsters on my teams side and I use every opportunity to gank.
The most important lane to gank is the 2v1 lane, where you're supposed to be. Remember to check if he's got his ult ready (TAB).
After getting some more gold I go back and buy The Brutalizer which I later build to Youmuu's Ghostblade(but do this after I have buyed Trinity Force, Last Whisper and Banshee's Veil)But I need lots of money to buy all that so I need to jungle and maybe if I get some teammates take the baron.
Or gank but I dont get so much money if i dont have good items so take one item at a time.

Jungling

Jungling

Cloth Armor and 5x Health Potion
Level up Phoenix Stance and start with golem. A tip would be to as mid to check the bushes around mid, while you cover the area next to golem. They probably know that you're going for golem, so this will help you avoid ganks.
Start attacking the golem, and spam Phoenix Stance (R). As soon as you're getting below 3/4 of your health, use your first health potion. And when the golem gets below 500 hp use Smite (smite deals about 500 magical damage at level 1). You can also get a teammate to help you.
Continue jungling wolfs, spamming R. You could also use a health pot here, since you should be above 450 hp before getting wraiths.
After wolfs, get Phoenix, attack the big one, and spam R. Note: be careful for having enough mana.
After wraiths, get the small golems. Why step over lizard? Because there's no point getting it and then go back, we'll get it after our recall.

or u can start with

Small Golems [lvl 1]
Udyr at small golems first? Doesn't he kinda need Blue Buff ASAP? Well no. not really at all. Turtle Stance is more than enough to counter the lack of sustained mana regen. Here's how this camp goes. Smite one of them right away, pop Turtle Stance and go to town. Just spam Turtle Stance until both are dead. No Health Potion needed, interestingly enough. Between your dodge, shield, and life steal, you will be fine. That is all you need, and if you do more than that, you will be behind on mana for the rest of the run.

then

Wraiths [lvl 2]
You will have almost full health. Pop Phoenix Stance, wait until the passive AA damage procs, then switch to Turtle Stance. The smaller wraiths do almost no damage anyways, so just take the big wraith first. After the big wraith dies, pop your first Health Potion. This will bring you back up to a safe level of health. It also times very well with the next camp.

and so

Wolves [lvl 2-3]
You get here, pop Turtle Stance as soon as you start on this camp, and don't stance after that. Take out the big wolf first, of course. Easy enough, almost impossible to screw up. Here comes the important part.

and then

Blue Golem [lvl 4]
This camp is important, but fairly easy. Pop Phoenix Stance and the second Health Potion, then Turtle Stance. You can either wait for the AA damage proc or you can switch right away. The former is faster and the latter is safer. Smite the golem at about 600 health, then stop dancing and kill off lizards in Turtle Stance.

then

Red Lizard [lvl 5]
This is the only really hard camp. Pop Phoenix Stance, wait for the proc, then switch to Turtle Stance. From then on, it's really up to preference. I like to switch back to Phoenix Stance just for the AoE and AD buff, but make sure to stay in Turtle Stance as much as possible, because you need all the health you can get.

And then the Dragon [optinal lvl 6]
Dragon is a bit irrelevant, because it isn't really in this jungle route. Dragon is more of a... team thing. You can do it alone, but it's safest to do it with your teammates so its easier to run away for your team if the other team ganks you.

Summoner Spells

Smite - Why you need smite? Because you are a jungler its good to kill minions/golems and jungling creeps fast then u can gank more often.
And it helps against super minions.

Ghost - Why you need ghost on Udyr? Because you need to move quickly to get faster to the champions you are gonna gank or chase.

Good teammates

Udyr's favorite teammates is anyone who can hold a 2v1 lane on their own, and got a stun. I'm gonna list up a few who can take 2v1.

Sion
Is awesome. Great stun, short CD. Enough said.

Nasus
May not have a stun, but he hold a 2v1 better than anyone else, and he has the slow which is needed for a gank.

Taric
He may not have a super nuke, but his AoE Shatter makes him able to sololane easy. And his stun is just super.

Morgana
Good farmer, and even better ultimate. AoE-stun is just awesome.
