tl;dr

Galio can permanently keep his w up and refresh it every 2.6 seconds.
This makes him invulnerable if he has enough resistances and ability power.
Even if you build magic resistance you still build damage with it, so his comes in handy.

Build for more heal.
Build to take less damage.
Build if you want both.
Build for the fun of it.
Build if they have conciderable ad damage.
Build ... i guess for 12.5 ap and a 25 mr?

The full build is clear 3x 120 AP items + 3x Magic Resist
The order always depends on how the game is going.
if it goes well.
if you are struggling.
Surrender at 20 if you lose because you dont know how to play.

Skill Sequence

first
I rotate between and for the safety and damage, but if i pwn hard i will of course level up first.

Spells

Go to Settings -> Keybinds -> Selfcast Spell 2 -> W

You are not going to use on allies since they go down in an instance if caught anyway and you are then out in the open for 2.6 seconds getting bursted hard.

Keep your up at any time and spam all other spells while you are at it.

Pros / Cons

Its a double edged sword. You pwn so hard that it gets boring and nobody wants to play a boring game, except for those socially awkward nerds playing idle games all day.

Creeping / Jungling

It doesn't hurt to get some bonus gold from clearing the waves instantly.

If your teammate starts whining "plz let me farm, I am carry" you tell him "not anymore you're not".

If he should still continue to demand farm take a few steps back, let him get killed by the enemy stun combo and continue to farm.

If he is now totally b1tching about you not helping and spamming "assist me"-pings on the minimap tell him to "f4ck off, cuz this aint a game motherf4cker".

Team Work

Like mentioned in the chapter above, try to use your ult as late as possible.

By as late as possible I mean till everybody is dead and you cant die, because you are so you clean up with a triple to penta.

Unique Skills

Duels

-You cant lose them.

Teamfights

-You can only be killed by a massive CC chain and Huge amounts of damage to break through your heal.
-Even if you get CC and survive it get your refreshed and Ult them.
-They either use everything on your team or they use it all on you. Either way the fight is won.

This should explain why Galio gets banned every damn time.
