This is my first guide, so don't be too harsh with feedbacks.

Urgot has always been one of my favourite champions, since he is viable on Top, Mid and Bot as Anti-Carry and Bruiser. In one game I ended playing support, which went pretty well. So please try out Support Urgot and see how well he fits into the position.

Also notice: Before playing him as Support, you should learn his mechanics!

Why is Support Urgot viable?

- Zaun-Touched Bolt Augmenter reduces the enemies damage by 15%
- Acid Hunter scales with total AD, what makes building CDR and ArmPen more viable
- Terror Capacitor has a decent slow and kite potential
- Noxian Corrosive Charge+ Acid Hunter poke is very strong
- Noxian Corrosive Charge reduces the enemy armor!
- Hyper-Kinetic Position Reverser is good for ganking, initiating and bringing enemies out of position
- very tanky due Terror Capacitor and Hyper-Kinetic Position Reverser

All in all Urgot Urgot has alot of utility and base stats.

When shall I pick Support Urgot?

1) your team lacks poke
2) your team has enough ae damage/cc
3) enemy botlane doesn't counter your poke Soraka+ Astral Blessing or Sivir+ Spell Shield

Greater Mark of Attack Damage

Greater Seal of Armor

Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist

Greater Quintessence of Gold

Flat AD:
Flat AD marks increase your earl game damage, making your Acid Hunter Acid Hunter's hit harder and result in an early advantage for your ADC.

Arm Pen:
ArmPen marks increase your midgame and should only be picked, if you build Tear of the Goddess and have a ADC with a good earlgame.

Armor seals are the best seals for every support, because you will face alot of AD damage from the enemies ADC. If you don't build Tear of the Goddess, you get armor early with Glacial Shroud, giving you room to replace some with Greater Seal of Scaling Mana Regeneration or Greater Seal of Gold.

Magic Resist:
I prefer per level glyphs in most cases.
You should consider to pick flat glyphs if you face an ADC like Corki with Phosphorus Bomb+ Missile Barrage, Varus with Blighted Quiver+ Chain of Corruption or Ezreal with Trueshot Barrage.
Or if the enemy jungler deals AP damage.

Greater Quintessence of Gold are my favourites because they give you room to effort Vision Ward or even skip Philosopher's Stone. Other viable Quints are Greater Quintessence of Health to increase your earlgame durability, Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage to boost your Poke even further or Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed to give you better escape, chase and dodge.

This masteries are common masteries for most supports, since they grant alot ofdurability Veteran's Scars + Block , manaregeneration Meditation and gold Greed + Wealth + Pickpocket .


This are the alternative masteries, that increase your damage even further, while sacrificing alot of durability. Best with Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage or Greater Quintessence of Armor Penetration.

Ignite counters heals like Heal or Astral Blessing and reduce the chance, that your enemy will get away alive.

Heal is a nice table turner, especially in the earlgame or during teamfights. Combined with Summoner's Resolve it grants you a nice HP/lvl boost. Can also be improved by upgrading Philosopher's Stone into Eleisa's Miracle.

Flash is the most used Summoner and this for good reason. It can be used as an gap-closer, to dodge abilities or just to jump over walls/trees.

Zaun-Touched Bolt Augmenter

This passive reduces all the damage his targets deals by 15%!
It's like a mini-exhaust that can be kept on the enemy carry during a whole teamfight,
resulting in a reduced kill and burst potential.
Don't underestimate this passive, it's one of the best in the game!

Acid Hunter

This is your key ability. It has a decent range, can be blocked by minions, but it always hit it's target, if it's affected by Noxian Corrosive Charge.Note: Max it first for maximum poke and trade.

Terror Capacitor

A decent shield with a build-in slow. While the shield is active every Acid Hunter and every auto attack slows your target for short duration, making kiting and chasing very easy together with your ADC.
Note: Maxed second for durability and additional slow.

Noxian Corrosive Charge

This is your only real skillshot! Hitting with it results in safe poke with Acid Hunter, while missing it is crucial as missing a Rocket Grab.
Note: Maxed last. But can also be maxed second instead of Terror Capacitor, if you play more aggressive.

Hyper-Kinetic Position Reverser

This ultimate is just amazing! Great for killing enemies who dive you, teleporting the enemy carry into your team or just to let your survive a little longer.
Note: Maxed whenever possible!

Grants you some manaregeneration and gives room for 2 Sight Ward 1 Vision Ward and 2 pots. Is also a part of Philosopher's Stoneand Tear of the Goddess

Health and free Sight Ward! The key item of every support in season 3.
Philosopher's Stone

Another standard support item, healthregen, manaregen and free gold!
Always nice to have this item.

Gives you a insane manapool and has gets better the longer you have it. Very nice for support Urgot.

Cooldown reduction is always nice to have, since it increases the amount of Acid Hunter you can fire per Noxian Corrosive Charge. Boosting your poke and uptime of your ultimate.

Manamune is your very core item. It add's a nice amount of AD to your Tear and evolves into Muramana in the lategame, what increases your poke damage even further.

Pretty cost efficient defense item, that grants tons of durability, a ae shield and a magic resist aura! Get this item, if your toplaner / jungler isn't building it.

This is the best armor item for Urgot in this game. Armor, CDR and Mana match to his manahungry poke combo and make you less vulnerable to AD's and turrets. In the lategame you can upgrade it into Iceborn Gauntlet or Frozen Heart depending your previous items and the enemy team. Don't forget, that CDR is capped at 40%, so every % above is a waste of gold.

The cleaver grants every stat you really need. AD, ArmPen, CDR and Health! On the top of that it also grants a armor reducing debuff, that stacks perfectly with your Noxian Corrosive Charge.

How to Poke

Save your mana, and use your Acid Hunter only to harass the enemy champions.
Once you hit lvl 3 your poke gets cost-efficient, try to harass always the same enemy with your poke, to give him no chance to recover. In most cases it's the best idea to focus the enemies ADC.

1) Chasing
If your target is trying to escape, while you are poking it use your Terror Capacitor to keep it in range and finish your poke combo, or even kill it.
If your enemy isn't in tower range and you are chasing your target with your allies, you can Flash+ Hyper-Kinetic Position Reverser porting your enemy into your allies, resulting in an easy kill.

2) Kiting
If your enemies are attacking you, while you are poking, activate your Terror Capacitor and run away from them, while hitting them with Acid Hunter whenever it is up, leaving them no choice, than running away again. -> 1)

Urgot is a very versatile hero, and I hope that I could proof, that he is also a viable support.
