Hello my fellow summoners! I have been playing Vel'Koz for a while now and i feel the need to now help others learn this amazing champion. First off id like to say that i'm not a pro but no minor at this champ. But this guide i have made will lead many to success.

Vel'Koz is an amazing Mid laner that does exceedingly well at poking his enemies and laying down massive amounts of damage in seconds. He can do well in ganks if timed correctly. I would recommend this champion to any who wishes to dominate mid lane and have lots of fun doing so.

Pros
-

- Great poker
- W E Q combo is devastating to any who may oppose you.
- Really good late game
- Great bursting ability with his passive.

Cons

- Not a mobile champ
- Long cooldowns
- A skillshot champ
- You will be a high priority target in teamfights

Oh, and for your own sake please don't jungle with Vel'Koz. First, your whole team will hate you and you will fail. Two, even though he may have good AoE to fight off camps, the long cooldowns are gonna bite you in the butt. Three, You arnt mobile at all.

To farm effectively you must use your W to gain stacks in your passive that sets you up for your Q. When there is a line of three or more try to hit the middle so that the energy balls extend outward to hit the others for maximum and most effeciant way of obtaining CC.

Vel'Koz is vulnerable to ganks because he isnt fast or quick to escape. He is very slow unless you grab some good boots.

Its very useful to have communication on your team to tell you when to use your R or when to use your E.
