So just a fair warning, I'm not a challenger player and I hardly play ranked. Vex has only been out for a few days. This is my first guide on mobafire that I've ever created. I appreciate the criticism but please try to keep it positive in some forms at least.

So, lets get to the part only a few people will actually look at.

Vex, a character released as a very specific counter pick against some of the most powerful threats in our current meta such as Irelia, Akali, Yone, and Others. But something seems to be missing from her kit. Her W provides her a shield but its not enough against these powerful burst champions. Bruiser Vex fixes this by providing the ability to survive long enough to punish these high mobility champions with her passive.

In lane you should try to out poke you opponents early, your runes should allow you to do this without costing you too much mana. Tear of the Goddess can also provide some relief for this issue.

Once you feel confident (and this will take some practice) you can try to dive in and get your full ability rotation to proc your conqueror. This become much easier once you are level 6 but if your opponent is as well think before you do it because some ults could completely shut your diving potential down.

Your a powerful mid laner post-6 and have a lot of kill potential especially against bot laners. If you get an opportunity to roam and go bot you should take it, top is also an option but you should assess the matchup their and decide accordingly. As a top laner your not going to be able to roam as much but it is possible. When in mid try to help with as many dragons as you can because these large team fights are where Vex can get some easy picks on bot lane.

Early picks can be extremely useful for your team. Defensive items tend to scale better early on compared to damaging items and thus you will have a powerful advantage especially if you complete your mythic first.

Once both teams start grouping your life becomes slightly harder as bruiser Vex. You should still be powerful against your lane opponent and the bot lane, but depending on the jungler and top laner they may pose a powerful threat to you. You should try to find high priority targets and eliminate them. Normal Vex struggles to make it out of fights but bruiser Vex can sustain long enough to leave if the fight begins to turn against you.
